BEST OF TEMPORARY FABRIC ADHESIVES
I've purchased just about all of the temporary fabric adhesives when I'm sandwiching my fabrics for quilting. Many are sticky, some don't adhere, and others are just plain useless. 505 is best of the best for temporary adhesion of fabrics. The spray goes on even, fabric goes on smoothly, and it doesn't gum up your sewing machine needle. Don't be fooled by the prices of any other adhesives. Pay the price for 505 and you'll get the finest temporary fabric spray adhesive offered on the market.

Happy with my 505 basting spray. I use for machine embroidery projects i dont have to much trouble with the adhesive buildup on my needle. I use for basting my quilt layers together. I have issues with any build up on my needle will FMQ. I am on auto ship and will not run out come nxt time I need to have 505 adhesive spray on hand.

Love making my quilt sandwich with this spray
Making a quilt sandwich with this spray is so much faster and easier than pinning. It works about as well as other sprays I have used. It holds really well....for a few days, then it starts to release. So until you are ready to quilt it, don't spray it and let it sit around for weeks. It releases sooner than some others I have used. It is difficult to get off anything you overspray including your hands, so be aware. I got some on my cutting mat and it's still there, can't seem to get it off. I know, I know, why was I spraying it with the mat underneath? It was a little area I needed to spray, but I won't do that again LOL.

Excellent product for machine embroidery
Although pricey, I love this product for my machine embroidery projects. (Make sure to use a spray box of some sort.) Especially when I have to put fabric underneath the hoop! I live in the country, so not convenient to run to the city. Product was well packaged and shipper added a kind note which does not affect the product, but made me feel good about buying from this supplier.

Works great to baste quilts.
I use it to baste quilts before I quilt on my domestic sewing machine. It holds all three layers of the quilt together and I find it better than pin basting or thread basting. The spray washes out the first wash. Follow directions on the can.
