Tree of Life Wooden Urn for Human Ashes, X-Large 250 Cu in, Teal

Took 5-6 days to arrive but well worth the wait. Securely wrapped and boxed. Arrived in mint condition. Carving is beautifully rendered. Box is exquisite. The wood doesn't have a processed odor nor did it smell like wood. Very pleasant smelling. Can be used for human or animals, I ordered for my sweet cocktiel who passed away unexpectedly. UPDATE: (One week later) I returned the X-large box as it was too big for my needs. Return/refund was fast and seemless. Ordered the medium box. Workmanship was as lovely as the X-large box and arrived in 2 days. This seller and product is top shelf!

As others have said, it is a beautiful box. The flower carving is especially nice. The wood seems to be good quality.

My brother and I are finally going on a trip to spread our Dad’a ashes. We want to give his sister (our favorite Aunt) an urn with ashes for her to scatter or keep. Ceramic urns didn’t feel right for him. Then I stumbled across this beautiful urn. Wood working was his hobby and I feel like he would have loved the quality and workmanship of this box/urn. Our dad didn’t leave instructions of where to scatter his ashes (if you are reading this and don’t have instructions for your family, please have a conversation with them and make your wishes known! It would be much easier for us now). The engraved tree on the front reminds me about the circle of life and brings me peace. I know she will cherish this urn.

Having to buy this in the first place comes from a dark place of extreme sadness and despair. Trying to buckle down and search for something in which to store my Dad's ashes was already a feat in itself. He was a lover of antique furniture and intricately carved things. The tree of life also had a deep meaning to him so finding this was a sign. The carvings are absolutely stunning and the urn is made VERY well. The only negative thing I could possibly say about this is in regards to the bottom slat that slides out to allow you to insert the ashes. It looks like its made of presswood and is not the same quality as the rest of the box. I have no issue with it because it is holding my Dad's ashes just fine (he was 5'11" and about 200 lbs before he passed). I just thought it odd that they would cheap out on that part. Either way, if you're in this situation and you're looking for something that is quality and beautiful, look no more. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase... or as much as I can be given the circumstances behind having to buy it in the first place. Thank you for making this part so easy and for creating such a beautiful urn for such an amazing man.

Received it quickly and wood looks nice, although there were a couple very minor nicks on the wood. The one I received appears to have been opened by someone else before sending to me because the interior wrapping was not fully in place. Found that the sliding bottom panel was very difficult to open. After removing the screw I had to carefully tap the bottom with a hammer to get it loose and out. It appears the sliding bottom panel is just slightly too wide. I'm guessing that someone else had the same issue and therefore returned it (and it was subsequently sent to me). I decided to try to fix it on my own. I took a sanding block and carefully sanded down the bottom panel edges to provide more clearance for it to slide. That pretty much took care of the issue (still a bit of a tight fit).

It's made of a beautiful wood, with a gorgeous carving of a tree on it like the tree where we plan to sprinkle our beloved dachsund's ashes.

Looks absolutely fine. Good size.

Well, I do not intend to be using this soon! But I have to say it is a beautiful item. I am pleased that I will be in such a lovely piece one day!! Well made, lovely carvings and colour. Plus a g good price.
