Peter Parker's putting his life back together - but everyone around him keeps threatening to throw it into chaos! Exhibit one: Boomerang. Wondering when Fred Myers' status as Pete's roommate would blow up? Right now! When Boomerang and Spider-Man walk into a bar, it's no laughing matter - because it's the Bar With No Name, and it's full of villains out to end the wall-crawler! Then, when the Thieves Guild of New York steals the limelight, Spidey turns to his foe turned friend turned crime boss the Black Cat! Meanwhile, J. Jonah Jameson has a new job as a shock jock - but is the world ready for a pro-web-head JJJ? And is our hero ready for the Enforcers to come after him harder than ever? Prepare to be amazed as Nick Spencer's action-packed run continues! Review: Volume 2 - I really enjoyed the 'team-up' between Peter and Boomerang, as well as Peter and Felicia finally being friends again. It seems like Nick Spencer's run involved a lot of cleaning up past mistakes that were made with this character, and he did it really well. Review: Solid run so far - So far Nick Spencer is doing good on Spidey which doesn’t surprise me as he knows how to write comedy (go read The Fix from Image comics), but he can also capture those deeper moments. I can’t really compare it to Dan Slott’s run because I only read bits and pieces of Slott’s run from whatever my local library had years ago and I haven’t gotten into Chip Zdarsky’s Spectacular run that came before this yet (but I plan to soon) but it is a fun read that I’d recommend if you’re looking to get into a current Spidey run with a new writer. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #294,377 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #1,313 in Marvel Comics & Graphic Novels (Books) #4,403 in Superhero Comics & Graphic Novels | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 585 Reviews | ## Images ![Amazing Spider-Man By Nick Spencer Vol. 2: Friends And Foes - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91onEEnmZ3L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Volume 2 *by B***9 on October 28, 2023* I really enjoyed the 'team-up' between Peter and Boomerang, as well as Peter and Felicia finally being friends again.
