Amazing Spider-Man By Nick Spencer Vol. 2: Friends And Foes

I really enjoyed the 'team-up' between Peter and Boomerang, as well as Peter and Felicia finally being friends again. It seems like Nick Spencer's run involved a lot of cleaning up past mistakes that were made with this character, and he did it really well.

So far Nick Spencer is doing good on Spidey which doesn’t surprise me as he knows how to write comedy (go read The Fix from Image comics), but he can also capture those deeper moments. I can’t really compare it to Dan Slott’s run because I only read bits and pieces of Slott’s run from whatever my local library had years ago and I haven’t gotten into Chip Zdarsky’s Spectacular run that came before this yet (but I plan to soon) but it is a fun read that I’d recommend if you’re looking to get into a current Spidey run with a new writer.

My son like this book.

I received ten books from this seller and I loved them so much

Great for reading for my grandson.

This was a gift for my husband and he hasn't said anything negative about it.

Friendships and partners can be complicated, especially when your world involves super heroes. It isn't all villains and disasters, but it does make a personal life more difficult to balance. And no one likes to be alone, even with powers.

I love where this book is going!

Note: You can read this book without reading volume 1 first (if 1 is out of print). But I would recommend reading the series, because this book is part of a larger arc. I feel that even after two volumes Spencer has found his Spider Man groove - and while the artist alternates between volumes (Ottley and Ramos), there are enough familiarities to avoid the transition being jarring. This was an excellent book - I won't give away any spoilers, but it's clear as the relationship between Boomerang and Spider Man develops that the book is building up towards something, whilst also being an individual story with an ending. Can't wait to read the next volume.

I liked reading it. I used it for reading mostly. Don't try to wipe your bums with it, it's will be painful.

Excellent service and item
