At the beginning, the game starts very similar to basic pandemic, in which your team of disease fighting specialists races against the clock to travel around the world, treating disease hotspots while researching cures for each of four plagues before they get out of hand. During a player's turn, they have four actions available, with which they may travel around in the world in various ways sometimes needing to discard a card, build structures like research stations, treat diseases removing one cube from the board if all cubes of a color have been removed, the disease has been eradicated, trade cards with other players or find a cure for a disease requiring five cards of the same color to be discarded while at a research station. Each player has a unique role with special abilities to help them at these actions. After a player has taken their actions, they draw two cards. These cards can include epidemic cards, which will place new disease cubes on the board and can lead to an outbreak, spreading disease cubes even further. Outbreaks additionally increase the panic level of a city, making that city more expensive to travel to. Each month in the game, you have two chances to achieve that month's objectives. If you succeed, you win and immediately move on to the next month. If you fail, you have a second chance, with more funding for beneficial event cards. During the campaign, new rules and components will be introduced. These will sometimes require you to permanently alter the components of the game this includes writing on cards, ripping up cards and placing permanent stickers on components. Your characters can gain new skills or detrimental effects. A character can even be lost entirely, at which point it's no longer available for play. Review: Best game ever!! - This is the best board game ever. Period! Review: Best legacy board game on the market - Finally finished my campaign with a friends. While they are not big into board game, pandemic was easily accessible for them and we ended with a beautiful one of a kind board that we still talk about from time to time to this day. I need to find a way to frame the board with all the elements. Fred the med, you shall be remembered as an hero, always and forever. ## Features - 2 to 4 players - Playing time 60 mins - Age 13 and plus - Type strategy, thematic ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00TQ0DXR2 | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #345,536 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #13,245 in Board Games | | Brand | Asmodee | | CPSIA Cautionary Statement | Choking Hazard - Small Parts, No Warning Applicable | | Colour | Red | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 1,212 Reviews | | Edition | Kids Edition | | Estimated Playing Time | 60 Minutes | | Genre | Strategy | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00681706711713 | | Importer Contact Information | Boardway India, Munisuvrat complex, Bhiwandi, 421302 | | Included Components | Boards, card, rules, dice and boardgame related accessories | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 7.5 x 27 x 37 Centimeters | | Item Type Name | Board game | | Item Weight | 2.04 kg | | Language | English | | Manufacturer | Asmodee, 1995 County Road B2 West Roseville, MN 55113, Z Man Games | | Manufacturer Contact Information | Asmodee, 1995 County Road B2 West Roseville, MN 55113 | | Manufacturer Part Number | PANR | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Material | Cardboard | | Maximum Recommended age | 1188.0 | | Minimum Age Recomendation | 156 | | Minimum Recommended age | 156.0 | | Model Number | ZM7171 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Players | 4 | | Operation Mode | manual | | Packer Contact Information | Boardway India, Munisuvrat complex, Bhiwandi, 421302 | | Size | Standard | | Theme | Science Fiction | | UPC | 681706711713 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Z Man Games - **Material:** Cardboard - **Theme:** Science Fiction - **Genre:** Strategy - **Number of Players:** 4 ## Images ![Z-Man Games Pandemic Legacy Board Game, Red, Kids - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91pULhz5QyL.jpg) ![Z-Man Games Pandemic Legacy Board Game, Red, Kids - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81fTuKI13+L.jpg) ![Z-Man Games Pandemic Legacy Board Game, Red, Kids - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Jt0apEkcL.jpg) ![Z-Man Games Pandemic Legacy Board Game, Red, Kids - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71lSjZzphhL.jpg) ![Z-Man Games Pandemic Legacy Board Game, Red, Kids - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71b8GSFswwL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best game ever!! *by A***A on 24 May 2018* This is the best board game ever.
