Perfect size with no big chunks for smaller birds.This product had the very least amount of sticks, rocks, dust and inedible debris than several of the other brands I’ve bought. Very competitive price. The birds love this!

Convenient to put into the feeders. I use both a platform and a hopper feeder, and they both empty fast. All the small birds like finches and nuthatches like it but the cardinals and other larger birds do too. A good feed for them at a good price for me.

I have several bird feeders on my property and I love watching the birds, but hate the weed growth that so many wild bird seeds cause. I'm thrifty, and didn't want to spend more for bird seed when squirrels are always getting into it, but this is one product where I'll spend more for the convenience. The bag has a good mix of peanuts and sunflower seeds and the birds flock my feeders for it! Also, NO WEEDS!

Purchased because it advertised the container was animal proof. Well, the squirrels ate through the container lid in 1 day.

The finches love this brand. It needs larger access holes due to the blend.

The birds love it and it doesn't sprout. I am still paying for the mistake of buying viable seed.

I was disappointed in this product. I usually buy the Kaytee Fruit and Nut at our local Tractor Supply store but thought I would try it. The Kaytee has large and visible fruit pieces, but I could not find one single piece in this bag. I also think safflower is a waste.

This is the best safflower seed I have purchased! There is NO debris in the bag and no musty smell like some other bags have, and the cardinals, wrens, and house finches love it. However, the squirrels, common grackles, and blue jays do not, so it's working to keep those little critters away from the food for the smaller guys! I especially like that the Cornell Lab of Orinthology is partnered with Pennington to provide the best quality, and best value for the money, in bird seeds. I can also use a very small portion size to fill up the feeders, so this bag will last a long time. Highly recommend the brandA
