All Natural Salt Free Poultry / Turkey Seasoning 1 Oz (Pack of 3)

First let me tell you a brief story about Bell's Seasoning and my family. My brother died 6 years ago. Since then my niece has been making her own Thanksgiving dinners and trying to make them as much like those she remembered her father making for the family. At Thanksgiving in 2020 she went to my oldest daughter's home for dinner. On coming into the kitchen Cody exclaimed, "That's what Thanksgiving smells like!" What she was smelling was Bell's Seasoning on the turkey and in the stuffing. I grew up with Bell's Seasoning on every holiday turkey, every roast chicken, in the breading of every piece of fried chicken and any other place that poultry was involved. That is true though in 1863, William Bell marketed his seasoning as perfect for pork sausages. My grandmother and great-grandmother roasted birds with Bell's Seasoning. My mother did too. I still do and my daughters carry the tradition into a 5th generation. For a real New England Thanksgiving no matter in what part of our America you live or what traditions you carry forward from your ancestors, give Bell's a try and be enchanted by the smell and taste. I'll bet it would even be fine in a mole sauce. If you like it make sure that you always have some on hand because no poultry dish will taste quite right without it ever again.

My family has used this for many things ( not just T day turkey stuffing) since my great grandmother !! Soup boring ? Shake some in. Casserole a dud ? Shake some in. Omelet a bore ? Just a pinch will liven it up !

Best poultry seasoning ever!

I have used Bell’s seasoning for 50+ years. There is nothing that compares to this seasoning. Where we live we can’t find it in local stores. I ordered the three pack so I won’t run out. Thank you Amazon for selling this! It was packed well and got hear in perfect condition,

This is the best seasoning for my French Canadian meat poultry stuffing. It is not easy to find in stores. Being able to get it on Amazon is wonderful.

The seasoning itself is great- I make fake chicken meat dishes (using various pea or soy chunks/strips etc.) and it makes the dish taste LIKE CHICKEN. I use it in vegetable soups and stews etc- because it has most of the herbs I'd use anyway. Like so many other reviewers- I'd trade the nostalgia of the box with the turkey on it (that my mom used 60 years ago) for something that could actually hold the fine powder inside. I can pretty much guarantee one of the three boxes, tho' wrapped in a plastic bag to be boxed) will pouf out some seasoning all over the inside of the bag. And I immediately (with a small funnel) had to put them all in a glass jar for further use and storage. Regardless, I really like the herb combo and think it's worth the slight bit of extra work.

I have been using this for years and it is the best Thanksgiving seasoning you can buy. That said, whenever I have purchased this from Bells directly, the little boxes are sealed together in thin plastic wrap. This is because the company knows the product leaks out of the cardboard box. This has always been fine. However, these arrived loose in a bubble wrap bag, and a lot of the seasoning was at the bottom of that bag because they were not properly sealed. Very disappointing. Also, they have different expiration dates on them.

This stuff is amazing when you make stuffing balls. This recipe has been passed down for generations
