easy to use, minimal hands-on during processing
I have owned the BioPro 190 for 3 years and have made over 6000 gallons, about 50 gallons/week, of high quality biodiesel for use in my own vehicles. I did not purchase this from Amazon, it was purchased from Graydon Blair at UtahBiodieselSupply, Graydon is very knowledgeable and was very easy to work with. During my 3 years of using the machine I made one partial emulsification (with defined layers) and one full-blown emulsification (think 50+ homogenous gallons of ranch dressing). The machine has never failed me with very little maintenance, but the recent full-blown emulsification was due to a water-out pump failing on the unit, I will need to replace the pump at a cost of $160. Overall the machine is well-designed. But, it seems that the seal between the main agitating motor and machine body quickly fails, causing excessive vibration and oil/biodiesel to wick to the top of the machine and create a mess. I witnessed a BioPro 380 with the same flaw. I would recommend SpringBoard Biodiesel to create a longer lasting seal between the main motor and the machine body. The other thing I would recommend is Biodiesel resistant hoses instead of standard fuel hoses, probably made of n-butyl (which is not biodiesel resistant). Springboard Biodiesel has a 1 year parts warranty and lifetime product support. They are very helpful with tech-support to trouble-shoot any problems with the BioPro 190 or with your problem-batch of biodiesel.

Got One... Great Machines
I bought mine directly from Springboard about 5 years ago. I used it for three seasons with glorious results, even had ASTM tests run with equally impressive results. A little over a year ago I moved out to a farm (no restaurants within about 20 miles). So I'd let mine go. (Only Amazon won't let me post it here. Apparently it's a 'restricted' item. If anyone knows of a good place to advertise it, let me know.) In any case, you won't go wrong with this machine!
