It broke my heart to have to shop for this and if you are doing the same, my heart aches for you as well.This urn has a solid weight to it that is oddly comforting. It feels very sturdy and high quality and looks nice on display like a cute little vase without screaming "urn". The threads of the lid are very tight so it was difficult to get the lid back on, but very secure once it was there. The bottom has felt on it to prevent it from scratching anything if it is moved.My Smokey was a big Maine Coon boy, but only 8lbs at the end of his 13 years after a fight with cancer. I purchased the small in a slate color as it matched him. As a bonus, it fit his collar perfectly around the lid when I loosened it to the largest setting. Inside there was room for his ashes as well as his favorite jingle ball toy. The opening was a bit too small for his ceramic paw print.I miss my handsome boy more than words can express, but this beautiful product brings me some comfort. If I ever make this horrible decision again, I would be comfortable in buying this product again.

The urn is well made and the cap screws down tightly which I appreciate. The color may not be what you expect. I was thinking it would be more copper but the one I received has a lot of greenish blues in it. It's still very pretty. I ordered the large and my dog's remains fit just right, she was seventy pounds of love. :( Sorry you are having to shop for this...

Having to shop for this product absolutely sucks, and I'm really sorry you're having to do this too. We ordered the Pewter with brass paws in the small size, for our 12 year old pug. She was just under 15lbs when she passed, and her remains fit in the small urn just so. It's very pretty, our girl was fawn and the colors remind us of her. It's quite heavy, and obviously durable. The lid screws on which I appreciate, it's a nice touch. This is much nicer than the flower print tin she came back to us in. Again, I'm sorry you're having to shop for this... thank you for being such a loving owner for your buddy.

I had to put my precious mini schnauzer down and have him cremated. I had seen an ad for a local glass artist who will take your cremation ashes and make them into a medallion, plus the ground was frozen. So I found this urn. It's so attractive and the paws on top are sweet. It's HEAVY, brass, which is one of my favorite things, and there was enough room in there for a few items of his, like his collar etc. The color is very pretty, a dark burgundy color. The lid screws on tightly. As other people have said, I am sorry you have to look for an urn in the first place , but this is a great choice. Another thing, the bottom of the urn has felt on it so it won't scratch your furniture. My sympathies for your loss.

Let me start off by saying thank you so much for providing a beautiful resting place for my best friend! My urn arrived today. Gadget was 28 lbs on the day he died, and his ashes fit well in this urn, with plenty of room to spare (see photos). It's a sad time in our house, but I'm glad to lay him to rest in this legacy container.

This is a great item, if you are searching this product it means you lost a good friend/family member so sorry for your loss.My 5 year old mutt had to be put down and we cremated him. He weighed 40 lbs at the time. His ashed filled around halfway on the large size and there was enough room for his collar. Good looking piece and it sits on our mantle.

First of all, I'm sorry you have to be searching for an urn for your loved one. It's always a hard loss. I wish I was able to post photos!! It's absolutely perfect. The original urn I bought had to be returned because it was a slender cat shape and there was NO way the bag of my cat's ashes was going to fit. I was upset because it was beautiful and perfect. So I spent many more stressful days trying to find something to honor her. I needed something perfect and that didn't symbolize an urn of death :/ she was my baby girl of 12 years. She was everything to my kids and my baby girl. I pondered and pondered, looked at so many reviews, photos of reviews, and many different websites. It was not an easy process especially since I didn't have a final resting place for her when I had to go pick up her ashes. I saw this and thought it looked beautiful. It's even more beautiful in person! It's heavy, sturdy, and just perfect. I was so upset because I saw another pretty urn after I already bought this one and thought I'd never find something that was good enough for her. Boy let me tell you when it came today, which also made me super happy because it came much earlier than expected!, I felt totally happy that I made and kept this piece. She was about 6/7 pounds and I got the Small and she fits very well. My problem was that I am NOT dumping her ashes out of her bag to make them fit, which I could have done to keep that first cat shaped urn. Because God forbid one day it falls and breaks open.... my baby girl would be all over the place and I'd have a panic attack! She's nice and secure in a sturdy, brass resting place securely in her bag wrapped in the velvet bag they also send with the urn.

This urn is beautiful and not knowing what size would be good, I got the “large” even though my Lulu was approximately 50lbs. Her ashes fit comfortably inside and there was room to put a lock of her hair (inside a small plastic bag) and if I wanted to put her clay paw print inside there would be room. The only issue is the paw prints looked a little messy but it’s very minor, some of the others I saw looked better. Otherwise I am happy with her final resting place. She’s home with us and that is really all that matters. This has been a very difficult 2 weeks and I know we will miss our girl forever 😢💔.

Je suis absolument satisfaite de l'urne funéraire de mon chat. Le seul conseil que je peux donner c'est de ne pas acheter le plus petit format pour un chat car la grosseur médium est déjà limite . Si j'avais à racheter cette urne je préfèrerais prendre la plus grande. Mais pour ce qui est de la qualité et de la beauté, on ne peut demander mieux.

This urn matched the ones that I had for my other two cats. They were purchased through the vet clinic at time of cremation. This time, the price would have been three times what I paid a couple of years ago. I still have to pay for engraving, but even so I saved a significant amount of money.It is the same size and quality of the ones purchased previously. It arrived before the expected date, so needless to say, I am very pleased with this purchase
