It is outrageous to charge close to $18 for a small chemical resistant jar like this. I thought for some reason it was shatterproof glass. It is made out of plastic. The metal washer insert is a nice feature. I guess this is a situation where you have to bite your lip and just buy it if you are an outside painter working with turpentine.
