NOW Foods is my go to brand when it comes to nuts, and these raw pecans didn't disappoint on quality. The ones I received seemed really fresh, soft but chewy, full of flavor and buttery delicious. The bag contains mostly halves, with few pieces, thought I assume handling during transportation might cause some extra breakage.The price is on the mod-high range for pecans and varies a lot on Amazon, but for me it's more convenient sometimes than ordering directly from the NOW Foods website.I really enjoy them for snacking, but they are as good for baking or topping my oatmeal.For optimal freshness, I personally store them in the freezer. The flavor and texture doesn't change, and I can eat them directly, no thawing needed.While I appreciate that I can recycle NOW Foods bags through Terracycle, they are poor quality. Most times the ziplock breaks after a couple of uses.

I purchased these for snacking and because I must be on a sodium free diet. These taste very good. I keep them in the fridge. I will buy again.

These pecans are wonderful. I put them on ice cream (after I crush them up into a powder), as a fatty addition to my KaChava shakes - Chocolate or vanilla; it doesn't matter. Pecans make everything better. If it's sweet, these pecans are probably going to go on top or in my desert. I would buy this brand again.

I did not want to order $50 worth of nuts from Nuts.com, for free shipping though I was running out of pecans, and this was the closest I could come, from Amazon, with free shipping. . .there is definitely a difference in taste, even after keeping the NOW nuts in the freezer, where the Nuts.com ones are kept. NOW pecans are darker, though not roasted, and the taste is somewhat flatter and more stale than the organic raw pecans from Nuts.com. Not sure why this should be, unless the sources are different.
