Great Goal for your kids (u10)

I had an old set of Blackhawk goals that took forever to setup. These are heavy with a metal base and don’t blow over easily in the wind if they aren’t staked down. If they aren’t staked a shot will knock them over, but no worry to me when I play on turf. The netting is thick nylon that almost feels like hard plastic. I think the net will last a long time. These bad boys come with heavy duty stakes and nice carrying bags.I haven’t played with other goals of this style before, but I noticed really hard shots pop the net corners off their poles. It only takes a second to reattach, but it is a thing. That isn’t enough of an issue for me to be concerned.I wish there was an internal pocket in the bag to keep the poles and stakes together.Th se are kind of heavy when carrying a pair of you are used to Pugg goals.Overall this is a great solution for pickup if you want an affordable that feels satisfying to score on. At this price you won’t find anything better.

When I received the unit I found it odd that when it folds down for storage the two legs don't close tightly together so there is about a 3-5 inch gap between the two ends while in the carrying bag.Unfortunately, what I discovered is this lends itself to the netting getting tangled into the ends and because the bag isn't tight can case the netting to slip in an out of the frame during transportation. Because the net is attached to the frame, my husband spent 2 hours trying to untangle it which my husband thinks he's fairly good at having untangling volleyball nets and Christmas light nets.While the frame and net are solid. we're getting another soccer net where the netting isn't permanently attached to the frame so there's more flexibility in untangling it. This net is beyond the return period and unfortunately is going into the trash.

It was a gift for my grandsons. They loved it. It was easy to assemble and sturdy.

This is a great portable goal. My son is taking soccer lessons and this gives him a great opportunity to practice at home in the back yard and at the park with his friends. It is easy to set up and take down. The quality is good and seems to be pretty sturdy so far. The colors and material are also nice. It does have some weight to it, but I am glad that it does so it doesn't get blown over by the wind. I do recommend putting it away when the child isn't using it so it does not get ruined by the sun and weather.

My kids play A LOT of soccer and my husband coaches their team at times so we needed a nice soccer goal that is portable for taking places but sturdy and will last. This this is the ticket! The goal is 6'x4" and comes in a nice handled zipper bag for carry it. The set-up is super quick and easy. After everything is screwed together for the first time it stays together mostly but collapses. There are just a few collapsible poles that are similar to tent poles that slip in and out of the front of the goal. The rest of it stays together and collapses for quick set up and tear down.This is definitely not a soccer goal that you would leave outside all of the time because the fabric isn't UV resistant and will break down. But it is a wonderful soccer goal for taking to soccer practice and for playing soccer in the yard.

This is my 2nd Franklin Sports Blackhawk Deluxe Flexpro Portable Soccer Goal. The first one lasted only about a year because I left it outside in the sun and rain all the time, and the tie down straps broke and yellow fabric disintegrated. So this is definitely not weather resistant and it does not have any UV protection.However if you bring it indoors after use, this is a wonderful portable soccer goal. It packs up very small, is lightweight, and looks great! I like the fluorescent yellow fabric that goes around the frame. This makes it easier to aim.Also because it is lightweight, kids don't injure themselves even if they smash into it. The frame just flexes like tent poles so you can get wild and aggressive near the goal.Overall I love this goal kit, but this time I'm going to pack it up or bring it indoors when I'm not using it.

I really like this goal once it's set up but it's definitely on the heavy side. It took me a little bit of time to figure out how to set up the goal but once you figure out how to do it, it's not too bad although it does take some time. It's not as easy as popping it up and then you're good to go. Quality is good and it's great for any backyard where your kid wants to practice soccer. Overall I think it's a little on the pricey side but the quality makes up for it.
