Excellent, convenient, and tasty
Very good and convenient to use. Good sourdough flavor. Only issue is for bread makers they suggest more water than needed. It needed only a cup of water in my bread maker.

Your Best Choice for a Bread Machine Sourdough
This mix is perfect if you want good sourdough bread from your machine. It makes a large loaf with an excellent flavor and texture. My machine has a sourdough setting and I have tried the starter, and have decided my level of dedication falls short of going this route. The dry sourdough packs are OK, but don't measure up to this mix, and you just use to basic bread setting, which takes about half the time of the soursough setting on my machine. And it's way cheaper and better than alternatives available on Amazon, ie Krusteaz.

Listed recipe needs tweaking
First I must say that this is one of the best sourdough bread mixes that I have used. Plenty of flavor and not as acidic as some others. But as the headline says, it needs some tweaking. I've made this bread 4 times now using different methods. The first was in a Hamilton Beach bread machine with the addition of additional yeast as some have suggested. The resulting bread was somewhat disappointing. Not much rise and the texture was grainy as well as being not as dry in the center as I like. Maybe I'll blame this on the machine, don't like them much anyway. Next attempt was using the listed oven recipe. Much better. Rise was OK and the texture was more of what you would expect from a hand kneaded bread. But the bread tended to be flat instead of tall after baking. Too much water IMHO. Third loaf was made cowboy style with charcoal and a 12" Dutch oven. I added 1 tsp. yeast and dropped the water to 1 2/3 cups. Almost perfect. Loaf rose high and proud. But still a bit too moist in the center. Fourth times the charm. Cowboy style again, 1 1/2 cups water, 1 additional tsp. yeast, time and temp adjusted to 40 minutes and 375 degrees. Thank goodness I bought a lot of this mix. And will be buying more in the future.

use it right away, use correct water temp
delicious sourdough bread using my bread machine. Very tasty and I froze the bread and enjoyed some very good sandwiches later. Easy to use the regular settings. I had no trouble when I use the temperature recommendations and the regular settings. it is a little pricey for a loaf of bread, but I will buy again. the fresh bread taste and smells great. All the ingredients are included except the water, so it was very satisfying for me and very good sourdough.

hmmmm
Not what I hoped but still okay. Sourdough is just best if you make it from scratch with good starter. But this was certainly easier

Beautiful and delicious
I used warm water with a teaspoon of sugar for the yeast, about 10 minutes before adding the flour. I used a blender with dough hook medium speed until it formed a solid ball, about 8 minutes. Covered in a slightly warmed oven and let rise 1.5 hours. It rose nicely. Knocked it down shaping and putting it into a bread pan covered in the warmed oven about an hour. Cut 4 slits in the top with a razor and baked at recommended temp but the first 15 minutes in a covered Dutch oven then last 15 uncovered. Great results. I’ve bought several types of this companies breads and they’ve all been excellent. Highly recommended.

The Best Sourdough Bread Maker Product Ever
For years, I worked in SF very often even though I was based on the east coast. This product is, in every way, as good as any of the already baked product I used to bring back in bulk every trip. SDINO (sour dough in name only) is all I got on the east coast. Here, it has no unique taste whatsoever. The loaf is huge. I refrigerate, cut in thin slices, toast, spread a little butter to melt, and luxuriate in a delicious treat. If you want to try the real thing, buy from this seller!!
