I can tell when I have left it out of my supplements that I take daily because I start slowly to retain more fluid. It's just something that's happened more and more over the last few years. I no longer tolerate sodium well and have to drink a lot of water to flush it out. This helps flush out the additional fluid, in addition to extra walking and elliptical training as well as compression. I'm lucky, I can flush it.
