I'm very happy with this so far and the only reason I'd change my opinion would be if this were to break in some way.This is a solidly built, stem mount that fits my Edge 500 perfectly. Since it is a stem mount it sits a little closer and some riders may prefer the mounts that get the computer out in front of the handlebars a little bit more. I don't mind it being a little closer in, so this works nicely for me. It does have an adjustment to tilt the mount upwards, but I keep it as flat as it can be.Attaching this took all of about 2 minutes. You just need 2 different sized Allen wrenches. I used a 3mm for the tilt screw and a 5mm to get the Top Cap bolt out. Place the Top Cap on top of the mount, reinsert the Top Cap bolt and tighten. you're good to go.

The Best Tek Garmin Stem Mount, Stem Mount for Garmin Computer, Adjustable Black is easy to install. It was thin enough that I was able to use my factory bolt and still have plenty of thread engagement in the star nut without removing any lower spacers.My Garmin Edge 530 locks in to it smoothly and stays in place. The small screws that hold the plastic locking ring in place are very low quality. Their hex sockets were a loose 2.5mm and very easy to strip. All of the screws were also loose out of the bag. I strongly recommend applying thread lock to all of the screws. The larger pivot screw had to be torqued uncomfortably hard before the mount stopped hinging. If they had included a small lock washer, this problem would be solved.For the price, this mount is fine. Just be careful when tightening the screws so you don't strip them and put thread locking compound on all of them. Since the hardware is so flimsy, I wouldn't completely trust this to hold an expensive Garmin on a mountain bike, or any bike subject to a lot of impacts and vibration. I have it on a gravel bike, but made sure to use the Garmin's safety lanyard. I will update if I have any issues in the future.

I had purchased a XOSS G+ GPS computer, which admittedly must be a knock off of the real thing, but it works pretty well. However the various OEM mounts provided did not work well on my bike, either by not fitting or by messing up the handlebar on my road bike or by failure of the rubber bands holding the unit on the bike. I ordered this stem mount hoping that it would fit my unit, and it did just that. Took about two minutes to install it, and it fixed all my problems. It appears to be stable and strong enough, and it holds the unit just behind and below the handlebar which would seem to offer some protection from bumps and spills. Time will tell the rest.

I’ve had this product on my mountain bike for about a year now. Works very well. The installation was very easy. I noticed some complained about the hinge being loose. I have had no such issues.Secures your GPS in a much safer location on a MTB given it’s not as far out in front in the event of a crash.I like this product so much I just bought a second for my other new bike!

Found myself using this differently than intended in order to taylor my garmin/light mount.

A very good Stem mount for Garmin devices. Nice and secure.But if you are have other items attached to the Stem Cap (like a thermometer or clock), this mount may not allow the Garmin to be placed into the mount if you want to have the Garmin on the Stem. Mounting it sideways might be an option. As shown in the picture, mounting it sideways, the thermometer and the Garmin device is viewable. It can also be folded either down or up.

Super, super happy with this purchase. I shortened my stem from a 90mm to a 70mm and could no longer fit my Garmin on the new stem. I tried the Garmin handlebar clamp mount but thought it pushed the computer far too forward. This Best Tek one is terrific for me, is unobtrusive and positions the screen at a good angle. When I showed it to my fiancee, she said "It looks unremarkable, just the way you like things." This is a compliment to the mount, for it looks like it's a cohesive part of the bike.
