Worked great - but only twice.
Welp, had I reviewed this right after I bought it in June 2015, I would have given it 5 stars - easy to use, sprayed well for home garden use (used it twice on my decent-sized property for weed control). But then I pulled it out of storage yesterday (March 2016) and it was dead as a doornail. Tried three sets of new batteries cleaned the contacts, etc., but still nothing. I was very sad that it didn't work, because as a small woman, it was much easier to tote around and spray large areas than the pump sprayer I was using. We'll see what customer service says about this.

Throw away all your other sprayers. This runs circles around all of them
Wonderful unit and a steal at the price. Get the cheapest of the ones that look alike, as they all seem to be the same unit. Throw away your pump sprayers and those Ortho gallon mostly water units which spray for 3 seconds and make you bend over. This unit has a long wand, so you can stand straight up. The switch is on the front of the handle which some reviewers don't like, but the sprayer is designed to sling over your shoulder with the strap and the spray switch is right where it should be using your thumb for on/off. The spray isn't a torrent but more than enough for most home use. I would recommend 4 rechargeable D batteries as it will run maybe a half hour before they have to be replacedI bought two so I can keep weed killer in one and a pesticide/fungucide/oil/whatever in the other. Kudos to whoever designed it.

I like it Great little sprayer
I got so tired of pumping sprayers so I purchased this one. Very affordable compared to other models.I use this sprayer everyday for the past year and half at least twice a day running it 30 to 45 minutes at a time to water chameleon cages. I ended up buying rechargable battries and they work very well with the unit. Still even when I started with just regular batteries it held a charge through several uses. The spray is gental which is good for my reptiles. Your not going to blast anything with the water on jet. After you are done spraying you do need to reverse the pump to pump water back into the tank . If you do not do this , liquid will continue to leak out and make a big messIt has been more reliable than a larger electric sprayer I haveI give it 4 star instead of 5 because I feel like it should come with rechargable batteries but I would purchase another if this one where to break

Love It! No More Pumping! WHILE IT WORKED!!
Best thing I ever bought for spraying weeds! No more spray a minute and pump two minutes! Batteries do not fade and the spray wand is plenty long, and nozzle is adjustable. I wish I had found this 30 years ago! A little wider carry strap would be nice, but nothing is perfect!UPDATE--I have used this once, and it sat for about a month and when I tried to use it it would do nothing. I finally replaced the batteries and extended the battery contact springs until the pump would run, but it would not spray. I took the top off and cleaned the pickup screen, but still no flow...Unless I can get the flow path cleared this will be another expensive boat anchor!!!

Nice features but sprays way too slow
I have used the Portable battery-powered sprayer with telescoping wand. The telescoping wand was great. The canister is easy to use and carry, even full. But the nozzle on the sprayer does not allow for much fluid to be dispersed through it. I now realize the batteries don't give enough power for the sprayer but I was hoping it would give enough power to at least spray enough of its contents with one swipe. I used this sprayer to help get rid of unwanted weeds around and along fence lines. I'm not even sure there is enough weed killer to do that job. Only time will tell. It was more time consuming to use this batter powered sprayer than it would have been to use the old fashion pump-every-50-feet sprayer Thus the three stars. All other features of this sprayer are wonderful; the telescoping wand, the ease of filling and cleaning the canister, the convenient snap to store the wand with the canister, the super long hose and instructions are clear and concise.

I give up!
The first unit did not work, but they replaced it immediately. The second unit works good and so far I like it, I have only used twice so far, but it is easy to carry and to use. My only negative is that it drips when you turn it off. The switch is made to reverse to stop it, but it is annoying to continue to switch in reverse each timeUpdate--the second unit worked for about a year, then failed. Ordered a new one, worked about three times and quit, they send me another one, It also worked about three times, then quit. Customer service is fine, but the product is not reliable!

No more pumping every few seconds!
I bought this to spray round up for weeds, we have 3.5 acres and I was so tired of the pump up sprayers, I wanted something light enough to carry around and not have to pump every few seconds! I used it yesterday for over an hour straight spraying weeds! Worked great, my shoulder was getting a little tired by the end, but it was great. I refilled 3Xs and kept going. Spraying around buildings, fencing, in between plants and shrubs and around trees. Spray was adjustable and you can shut off and on for more of a spritz and move affect. I thought I'd miss my trigger on wand, but the on off worked well. The only problem I had was the on off reverse, I kept wanting to click it in reverse for some reason and couldn't figure out at first why it wasn't working. Then I realize I was pushing it back instead of forward...all is well. The reverse feature is great when spraying one area and then moving to another, you reverse it to suck the remaining spray in hose back in tank so it doesn't drip where you don't want it to. I plan to purchase one for my 80 year old mother who continues to garden and do yard work.

sprayer if new is great, vendor is terrible
The sprayer is not bad. Only used it once and not sure how long it will keep working but for one use it was good. It has a 3 position switch - spray/off/reverse - which is a nice idea but if you are fumbling with the switch it is confusing. My BIG problem is the vendor reStockit. The second one I ordered is obviously used and broken. That is why the one star. Don't really know how else to let people know they're getting used and damaged merchandise.
