I struggled on this rating. Compared to using pins-I love these. so much faster, no pricking my fingers, etc. But I attached an image to show how the corners have little burrs which caught on the netting I was sewing. for the couple projects I've used these on the snagging was a minor annoyance, but if I was working with delicate fabric.....I'll pull out my dremel to remove the burrs.Also my rating reflects a general complaint that while I get how I can use the markings, it really should be clearer. the whole thing with which measure matches which mark and add 1/8". Just keep it simple. I'll never remember the whole math thing.I chose these over other cheaper ones because the general design looks like it will make a firmer grasp.

Terrible--don't buy!The product in unopened package is not as described--even according to the manufacturer's own illustrations on the packaging! As you can see, the upper "prong" is supposed to bend upward slightly in order that when closed, it lays flat against the lower "prong". Instead, on the two packages I received, the lower and upper "prongs" are both straight, meaning your fabric will push through the hole between the prongs, forced into the hole in the upper prong by the lower prong. Renders them totally useless. I contacted the manufacturer and will ask for a refund. NOT AS ADVERTISED!

I problem is that if you pick the option to get 3 you actually only get 2. An order of 1 gets you a package of 6 clips, but an order of 3 gets you only 12 clips. It should be 18. Somebodies math is off, so price per clip is more if you pick the option to get 3.

Rarely do I review items or return them, but these clips are useless. They don’t hold anymore than 2 thin layers of fabric n some of them had sharp places on the metal that snagged the fabric. They are way overpriced. The Clover clips or even the knock off Clover clips are 100% better than these. Don’t waste your money on these.

I'm a bit disappointed. I love most of the other Taylor Seville products I've bought lately, the pins, thimbles, needle threader. I expected these to be great. I have small hands, and it takes both of them to open these up wide enough to put them on something. I was using them to hold a facing down on a quilt while I hand stitched it in place on the back of a quilt. It was almost an ordeal to open them up.I'll save them for use on something really heavy that needs a lot of clipping power.

These might be a bit too stiff for weak hands, but worked great for me. The package isn't all that helpful in showing how to read the lines or use, but I found a YouTube video that helped with that. One thing the package does say is "don't run over these with your needle" (I, of course, did just that by accident and broke my needle, my fault). Even if you're not using these for their designed measurement, enough can take out the need for pins. Worked for what I bought them to do.

I should have listened to the negative reviews. Don't get me wrong, these things are wonderful but if it would not fall apart. I bought two packages and I regret it because I threw my money away. I do still have some but many came apart already. You also have to put pressure to open it. I would buy it again only if they improve it.

I'm very glad to have these clips. They were very helpful for the sewing project I was working on. They work very well to manage sewing seams on a smaller item. I was using them for a somewhat delicate fabric. I expect they would be really helpful with a thicker or stiffer fabric like denim or upholstery fabric. I didn't have a problem pressing them open, but I could see how that might be an issue for some with arthritis or other similar conditions.

Have not used yet if they are like the other clips on market they will be fine

These clips are so useful when you need to hold many stiff layers together!They are very thin and flat, which allows for sewing very close to them, compared to the regular plastic clips.They are particularly useful when sewing long, thin straps: you can actually topstitch one edge while leaving the clips on the opposite edge in place.I couldn't live without these clips anymore!However, they do come apart occasionally (you can put them back together without too much trouble), and they are way too expensive.

Die sind super! Sie halten gut und stören nicht so wie die normalen Clips (die zwar auch gut sind).

Ich verwende die Klammern täglich und möchte sie nicht mehr missen. Sie halten Stoffe wirklich sehr gut zusammen, am besten gefällt mir, dass man darüber nähen kann. Außerdem sind die Markierungen sehr hilfreich. Für Näh- und Quiltarbeiten sehr zu empfehlen.

Love these! They are light yet strong and hold fabric in place without shifting or marking. I am shifting towards using these ,ore than pins which are often blunt and leave marks in fabric. I highly recommend even though they are a bit pricey.
