ABC Warriors: The Mek Files 01 Kindle Edition

This collects the first of the ABC Warriors strips that were serialized in 2000 A.D. Written by Patt Mills, and illustrated by a rotating stable of artists, this series delivers enough violence, pathos, and satire to satisfy anybody. I particularly love the "Black Hole" storyline, which was my introduction to the Warriors. Great si-fi madness.

Have the second book as well

I was really excited about this. I skimmed through and the reproduction of the early 70s art is perfect, but there are some pages from the Bisley/SMS story that for some reason are bad reproductions and look washed out, like they've lost some of the blacks. This is bad news for such amazing BLACK & WHITE art.

It stared out with some great stories, characters, and ideas for the time it was written. However it got less sensible and more cliched as the story went on.

This team go onto some amazing works.See their early incarnation, lifted from the pages of 2000AD.Priceless.If only modern comics bothered to be this good.....

Old school 2000AD, gritty and tongue in cheek, with great advances through the early eras of the ABC warriors, especially as they work in unison with Nemesis

Another excellent graphic novel been waiting for something like this for awhile to come out one size book and in compplete series so all fitt together on my book shelf

The first, and best, run of A.B.C. Warriors stories, with the best artwork from Ezquerra, Gibbons and McMahon.

Hubby is delighted with this book A must buy for any 2000AD fan Beautifully printed A real nostalgia trip :)
