The media could not be loaded. I have been thinking about upgrading my home CCTV system for a while now. My old system has served me very well, but I dropped one of the cameras and smashed the lens glass and I also wanted a system with 1080P resolution. I have my old system connected via HDMI to the TV in my study, along with a PC, Xbox and Playstation. I use my CCTV to keep an eye on the house and our local wildlife often makes an appearance in the footage. The reason I chose this system is the built in 12” monitor. It means that I can be playing a game, or using my computer and still keep an eye on what is happening outside. I have the monitor on right now and it is sat on my computer next to the TV which is my main monitor. Please watch the attached video for a pretty comprehensive look at the system. Unfortunately Amazon compress the video, so you will not be able to see how good the video quality is, but I have posted the review on YouTube if you want to get a better look at it. This is an 8 channel NVR, so the system can be added to in future if required.The system arrives very well packaged and it would be quite difficult for a carrier to damage it in transit. There is a lot of equipment inside the box, please see the video. Setting the system up could not have been easier. Plug and play is exactly what you get. Attach the aerials onto the four cameras. Plug in the NVR/monitor and wait for it to boot up. Plug in the four cameras and turn them on. After a few seconds, all four cameras appear on the display. You need to connect the NVR to your router if you wish to access the system via the internet on your phone or tablet. You can also use another PC to connect via a website mentioned in the instructions if you are away from home. Connecting my iPhone was very easy.The NVR default setting is to record 24 hours a day and I have used 94GB for around 3.5 days constant recording. So I reckon 30 days would be a fair estimate before the 1TB HDD is full. It just writes over the oldest video when it is full. My old system has been recording constantly for a couple of years with no issues. The HDD is made by Toshiba, so it is good quality.The 1080P video is also very good quality, CCTV footage is never as good as Camcorder footage, but the cameras produce a good clear image and I was impressed with them. The WiFi capability is also good, way better than my old system. I mounted the cameras in the same positions as my old ones and the signal strength was much better on all four cameras. You can use each camera as a WiFi repeater if you have issues with signal strength. So a camera with a strong signal can also transmit the footage from a camera with a weak signal. This can increase the range of the system if necessary. I did not have to do this.Night vision is very good and the IR LED’s, all 36 of them, do a good job of lighting up the area in front of the camera. I have included some night vision footage on the video. I also have an IP camera mounted on the house and when I was messing about with the NVR, I discovered this on the system. This is a 1080P PTZ camera and it is now recording 24 hours a day on the NVR too. This was a real bonus as far as I am concerned.Playback on the NVR is very easy. Please look at the video where I demonstrate this. I do have an issue with the backup facility. You can connect a USB memory stick to the NVR, select various sections of video and download them onto the stick. The files are saved in .avi format, but unfortunately, none of the Windows 10 video viewing software supports this particular .avi codec so you cannot watch it. My video editing software would not recognise it either. It should definitely be in a format that is playable by standard video playing software. I had to use VLC Media Player to view it and this software will also convert the .avi to .mp4, which is what I had to do to add the footage to my review. Unfortunately, some of the quality was lost converting the footage.Other than that, I love this system and am very glad that I got it. The screen is brilliant and I am impressed with the video quality too. Wireless transmission is very good and the NVR is pretty easy to use and has a lot of features. I think it is ideal for first time users as it is so easy to set up.

Purchased this CCTV to replace a two-camera system that was difficult to use and did not produce high quality images.Installation was easy, just bear in mind that you will have to drill holes through walls for power cables (or fit external weatherproof plug sockets).When the cameras are all connected it is an absolute doddle as the cameras are pre-matched at the factory and are detected automatically when the system boots up. If you have connected to a router it is easy to set up remote viewing for PC, iPad or Smartphone. Easy to understand instructions are included in the manual.Day and night-time images are clear, well defined and resolution can be altered to suit your requirements. Recording options, playback, display settings and alerts can all be accessed via the easy to use system interface.I had a minor problem with the supplied screen so contacted the manufacturer by email. Their customer service was prompt and exceptional - a replacement was supplied. When it arrived I had to match the cameras with the new screen, which was easily achieved by following the excellent instructions sent by the wonderfully expert Yuki (even though the factory was actually on holiday for New Year).All in all I am extremely satisfied, especially with the level of customer service I have received. I would not hesitate to recommend this product or manufacturer to anyone.
