Enjoyed this book very much. I have been a dreamer since early childhood and have been working to develop this gifting especially over the last five or so years. This book was a wonderful "refresher course" for me, reminding me to journal and stir up this gifting. It renewed my appreciation for God speaking to me in this way. It's a great resource for dreamers -- the novice and the seasoned! Especially enjoyed the part on "concealed dreams" and the "déjà vu" affect. Thank you, Doug. This is the BEST BOOK I have ever read on understanding your dreams, EVER! It is not your cookie cutter type book and it's loaded with tons of applicable information. Having enjoyed it so much, after I read it on my kindle, I bought it from Amazon so that I could mark in it and keep as a close reference.It was so good and most certainly a cut above all the other books that I have read over the years. Other books have great information in them I agree, however, they can become too technical in there advise and lose the reader. The become long and drawn out.I have been a dreamer ever since I can remember. I highly recommend this book if you're a dreamer or know of someone who is.Doug has a gift for being concise and clearly communicating, making things easy to understand so we, as laymen can sink our teeth into it and apply the teaching/information immediately. We're a fast food society who wants to "drive through" coming out having understood years and years of research with little or no effort put into it on our parts.With Doug's decades of classroom experience as well as real world experiences you'll appreciate the fact that his expertise is exceptionally valuable. What we would have to invest years in, being in a classroom, he gives us in this power packed book without having to spend tons of money and hours invested just to learn.This is a practical down to earth and very informative easy read. After reading it, I walked away with a wealth of knowledge in a crash course on what Breakthrough Dreams are, Metaphoric Thinking, ( a metaphor is a figure of speech where one thing is expressed in terms of another. Example: a blanket of white snow, or life is a roller coaster, he's a night owl.....etc) context makes a difference, repeating dreams, knowing the source of my dreams, dream types and their functions, interactive or lucid, spiritual warfare dreams, warning dreams, literal or symbolic dreams, how to identify people in your dreams..... nightmares, children's dreams, common dreams, dream symbols, Biblical dream interpreters, 4 levels of dream recollection....mentoring children in the supernatural...the list goes on and on.This is truly a great investment. You'll be hungry for more of his teachings. No disappointment here.Doug even has video courses as well audiosHe is also right now for a limited time from what I understand after reading this book, giving a course on how to read tattoos. Great Teacher. Kind and straightforward This person is gifted and does not mind Both Wisdom sharing and Clarifying why and draws on personal use and testimony. Great book giving all the basics you need to begin a lifestyle of recapturing the hidden language of dreams. I turned to this after a series of dreams that happened nightly. Following his advice, the amazing thing was they were indeed answering issues I had need of.After implementing the steps in the book, I was capturing more of my dream life to be able to help with my “waking” life.Great stories, exercises and a basic dream dictionary of metaphors to help interpret your dreams.

I have been to those complicated graph drawing dream interpretation classes. I often got lost in it. My problem is I'm too analysical on the symbols. Doug really opens my eyes to symbolic thinking which is absolutely the key to interpret dreams correctly. I have learned so much from this book and I plan to re-read it again. I have dream journals for the past 10 years and now I finally have some effective tools to crack those mystery. Now I can't wait to dream again :)

2014 was an awesome journey for me in the supernatural realm. I though I had it all going but along the way I experienced set backs and I was growing frustrated about them. I was asking God why are things not going my way. I thought "He said this" and "He said that" but why aren't they happening? During those trying times, I had a lot of night dreams. Many of them I could not figure out what they meant. Good thing I wrote all of them down in my journal. When I saw this book in Amazon, at first I was skeptical. I was thinking may be this is one of them "New Age" teachings. I read the sample and decided to get the book anyway.Mr. Doug wrote an easy to understand guide on dream interpretation. I was able to apply his principles on dream interpretation right away. Suddenly, everything I went through last year made sense. All the questions I have been asking God were answered all along, only I was not "seeing and hearing" correctly! The fun thing about this is I am now able to apply it to my friends' dreams as well. It has opened a new door for me to reach out to them. Sharing Jesus to them used to be difficult. As if there are walls in between. But when they hear the interpretation of their dreams, suddenly they are all open for counsel.So I give this book 5 stars because the principles are practical, easy to understand and very easy to apply. No, I can guarantee this is not New Age!

This is only of my favorite books on dreams. He's very straightforward and easy to read. There are other books out there that are more detailed, but I still use this one frequently to help me interpret my dreams. If you're new to dream interpretation, this is a really great book to start with. Even if you are familiar with the topic, I think it's nice to read another perspective to gain a deeper or fuller understanding of a topic.

A brilliant summary of biblical dream interpretation with wise advice on understanding your own dreams and the dreams of others. Now that I know some of the meanings and symbolic elements I have a better understanding of what God is telling me through my dreams. This is invaluable and I recommend keeping a dream journal.

This is my first ever review of anything I have purchased. I was so blessed and inspired to take my dreams from God seriously and understand how to interpret them. Highly recommend this book. I wish it was longer.
