Shadey Minerals Black Eye Shadows (10gr Sifter, Coal Matte)

I did not realize this was a loose pigment. That was due to my misreading of the product description.I ended up adding a bit of alcohol to it and giving it a light press with the bottom of a mascara tube. I turned it into a pressed eyeshadow because I wanted to use it as an eyeliner. It was not a good idea to use the loose pigment as an eyeliner because particles of it would fall into my eye. I was looking for a matte black eyeshadow to use on top of my eyeliner.On days when I am in a hurry, I just use an angled eyeliner with this and it gives a beautiful line. The color itself is not ultra deep black, even when I applied it while my brush is wet. It is good to use as a setting powder on top of eyeliner as it produces a matte finish. It's cheap, and this little pot will last me awhile.

Absolutely Stunning product, perfectly Matte finish! I ordered the sample, I do my eyebrows with a angled brush, have been for years, so it doesn't take much product, I loved the sample and still have most of it, and I also went ahead and ordered the 5gram jar for future use! It goes on with ease and I can control the product alot better than similar pigments. Overall I'm really pleased with this product! The sample has lasted me about 2 1/2 weeks now, since I just need a tad bit to draw in eyebrows and little lines to appear as hairs, I'm just stunned with the long lasting time lapse of this product, and the whole look is matte by the time I get to work! Its honestly a crowd pleaser!

I don't like the container that it came in. It is too easy for the powder to go flying if you aren't careful how you open it. I do like the eye shadow though. It's hard to find the matte finish so I will be buying the full size of this product. I am glad they let you try a sample before buying the full size, but the shipping for 2 of these tiny pots was $4.00. I think it probably didn't cost them more than a couple of stamps.

I really like the shadow. I ordered matte black. I was a bit disappointed because I thought it was a small compact, but it is a tiny paint size tub where the lid pops open and some product at the bottom. It does have some glitter in it. Not too noticeable. Would have been my first real actual matte black, but there is some glitter :( Besides that, it's really pretty on and the gel sent with it made it better :)

I'm surprised... in a good way! I have used many types of black eyeshadow in my days & this is by far the best. Every black eyeshadow I've tried never really is black, it's usually a dull gray-ish color no matter how many layers you put on! But this, oh my goodness, I was crying tears of JOY! Finally! Finally! After all of these months of screaming at eyeshadow palletes, puling out $30 JUST FOR DAMN EYESHADOW, i have found one that lives up to its name. It is black, I tell you! IT. IS. BLACK. I apply ONE COAT. ONE COAT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, ONE. FRICKING. COAT, IT IS BLACK. IT IS FINALLY BLACK. My eyelids thank you, Shadey Minerals.

This is CRAP! I don't know how anyone can say how great this product is, but I'm going to base my review on not so much the longevity of the product, but rather the difficulty in using it. I will NEVER, EVER buy an eyeshadow that comes with a sifter again. Why? Because it is super messy! Shadow got all over my fingers after I shook it and opened it. Then I didn't realize a little drop of it went on the floor, and I stepped on it. I then noticed little black marks all over my floors! And I'm here to tell you that this stuff does NOT clean up very well, either! It left a residue stain on my linoleum floor in the bathroom, but it took a lot of scrubbing to get out of my carpet where it tracked.NEVER again will I order this type of shadow! Oh, and not to mention that it was extremely difficult to get the clear "tape" off that covers the holes. It took an exacto knife, and even then, it wasn't easy. There's no "tab" to pull, and the tape is very hard to even see!Good luck to whoever buys this. The ones already using it, I can't only imagine the mess around where you apply it!

Goes on beautiful. Very saturated color. Absolutely love it. AS for people complaing about the amount It's a sample people. And I don't really understand the complaints. I've had mine for months and with Maybe once to twice a week use if used properly will last a very long time. Tips for use. Dab a small amount on your eyeshadow brush no fingers. Lightly tap off excess back into container and apply continue this until you have the shade you desire. Will last forever. I'm definitely buying more here soon. Love this product lasts all day with a primer.

fast shipping and product is a nice sample size too. I should be able to get a lot of use out of them. Comes in those small paint containers used for kids. Colors appear pigmented and matte. Haven't worn it yet so I can't comment on longevity. The samples came with a primer and eyeliner sealant.
