Measuring 10x10x16 cm, it operates purely on sunlight or artificial light, requiring no external power. Ideal as a decorative piece or educational tool, it demonstrates fundamental physics principles while adding a sleek, eco-conscious accent to any professional or home environment. ## Features - How it works - The glass Radiometer is made of a vacuum glass bulb. There is a rotating shaft and four blades inside. When it is exposed to sunlight, artificial light, or infrared radiation, its leaves will rotate. The stronger the light, the faster it rotates. - Exquisitely designed - Handmade from high-quality glass. Crystal clear, small and exquisite. It needs to be placed on a flat surface to prevent shattering. - The best decoration - It is suitable for occasions such as offices, living rooms, bedrooms, classrooms, study rooms, parties, etc. Place it on a desktop or windowsill, and as long as there is sufficient light, it can rotate continuously without requiring any other energy. - Creative Gift - Giving it as a gift to our family, friends, colleagues, and leaders is perfect. As long as there is light, it can rotate continuously, just like our emotions. As long as we treat them sincerely, friendship can be eternal. - Physics teaching tools - their formation can explain many physics principles. For example, the principle of refraction of light, the principle of air friction, the principle of vacuum propagation of light, the principle of uneven heating generating power, and so on. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Age Range Description | Adult | | Asin | B07MP6SSS1 | | Best Sellers Rank | #110,658 in Toys & Games (See Top 100 in Toys & Games) #39 in Solar Power Kits | | Brand Name | DORAMI | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (237) 4.4 out of 5 stars | | Educational Objective | Physics | | Item Dimensions | 3.94 x 3.94 x 6.3 inches | | Manufacturer | DORAMI | | Manufacturer Minimum Age Months | 180 | | Manufacturer Part Number | OSFSJ003 | | Material Type | Glass | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Set Name | DORAMI Solar Power Crookes Radiometer Kit | | Size | 10cm x 10cm x 16cm | | Theme | Physics | | Upc | 602463522046 | ## Images ![Orange Solar Power Crookes Radiometer Solar Energy Spinning Vanes Glass Windmill Gift Home Desk Decoration - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/614rIkz-MgL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works like a charm! *by on Reviewed in the United States October 8, 2020* Got it yesterday, and yesterday we had a variety of weather, so here's my experience:1) In direct sunlight, it "whir spins". I don't mean it makes sound, but it's moving so fast it's just a blur.2) In indirect sunlight, but still a bright day: steady spin, but not real fast. Maybe one rotation every second or second and a half. But it keeps it up.3) Cloudy daylight: sits there like it's waiting for a bus. Maybe twitches a little occasionally, but no rotation whatsoever. So, there you have it. It actually works better than I had hoped, and so I give this a full five star thumbs up. The colored glass makes for an attractive piece, and I could see giving one of these to just about any science-minded person. The fact that it doesn't spin on a cloudy day is more than compensated for by its behavior in direct sunlight, where it spins so fast that in an earlier age you might have thought it was possessed by demons. You can think that now, too, if you want, but it probably isn't actually true. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Intriguing and delightful *by on Reviewed in the United States January 18, 2024* I bought this for my husband for our 11th anniversary and he absolutely loved it! He opened it at the restaurant where we booked for our anniversary lunch and it was a head-turner! Everyone there started to ask how it worked. It’s an eye-catcher on my husband’s mahogany desk. Very classy. A great gift for anyone who wants to ignite the imagination or inspire wonder. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and interesting *by on Reviewed in the United States September 10, 2023* The glass piece is pretty as can be, it gives a “tartarian” kind of vibe. When in sunlight the panels obviously rotate and it’s just a neat science-y gadget. I’m a man and I love it personally. Sits next to my tv in my living room near my window. 100% recommend. ## Frequently Bought Together - DORAMI Orange Solar Power Radiometer Crookes Solar Energy Spinning Vanes windmill Gift Home Desk Decoration - DORAMI Spaceship Solar Power Radiometer Sun Light Energy Spinning Vanes Glass Windmill Gift Home Desk Decoration - DjuiinoStar High Performance Gyroscope (Solid Stainless Steel Rotor): Initial Speed 8,000 rpm, Robust and Stable; Provides a Very Good Gaming Experience; Science Equipment DG-5PRO-01 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/106180423-orange-solar-power-crookes-radiometer-solar-energy-spinning-vanes-glass](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/106180423-orange-solar-power-crookes-radiometer-solar-energy-spinning-vanes-glass) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
