WANGLY Polarized Unisex Clip on Flip up Sunglasses over Prescription and Reading Glasses Frames

My prescription sunglasses broke. I went to tge optometrist and ordered a new pair, but it will take up to two weeks. What to do? I ordered these clip-ons. They are great! They're polarized to cut down on glare, and they flip up in case I need to read something on my phone..

These fit my glasses really well. I liked the amber lenses. They are clip on, and the clip is distracting at first, but you get used to it fairly quickly. Decent price and so grateful for the ability to temper the bright sunlight especially when driving.

These clip on shades are super nice. I’d say same quality and price as in stores but difference is they come in a nice soft , almost velvety wrap and a hard plastic case to protect when not in use. Store bought don’t and as you know, when thrown in a drawer they get scratched up. Not these. :) clip is strong for flipping up. Having nothing to do I sat here and flipped them up and down all night. Clip on them is very good. Have a feeling they gonna love me long time.lol Shipping was surprisingly quick if you know what I mean. Arrived in time for my retina shots in eyes. When you get that done,eye place gives you those flimsy rolled up shades to slip behind your glasses. They never stay in place. With these,well,just flip them down and you’re ready to go. I’m sure they’re also good for sunny days.lol I used to pay extra to get that sun tint on my glasses. Then when you walk into house they take forever to clear up. These cost one tenth of that and just flip them up and you can see again. It’s the little things that make me giddy.ill shut up now.

I looove these they have been a lifesaver. I have chronic migraine so absolutely cannot go outside without sunglasses but contacts dry out my already super dry eyes. These are the perfect find for me. They clip on very easily and smoothly and even have little rubber covers on the clip to ensure no damage to glasses. They cover a large area so would be good for multiple glasses shapes, personally I have rectangular frames and they cover the frames and a little bit beyond which for me is great as the more coverage from the sun the better. They come with a glasses case and a lense wipe to keep inside which makes them easy to toss in my PURSE. They are very light weight on the face and don't make the glasses slide down my nose, and I have an oily nose. They perform just how I'd hoped and help me prevent migraines while out and about. I love them so much that even when my son broke my first pair I didn't bother shopping around, I just repurchased these with 1 click. Just note, they are polarized so viewing cell screens in daylight can be a bit harder. But overall I would say GET THEM!

They function as described. Haven't tried the night driving yet. The clip is obtrusive and often gets in the way. The lens size, for me, needs to be a bit larger. When flipped up, they flip 180 degrees, and the flip is not sturdy enough. They move too easily so they don't stay in place and will become askew easily. Probably going back to my previous brand.

Other than that --- almost perfect. I bought two very similar clip-ons of two different brands; here is what I found: I bought these Wangly Silver Clip-ons and also Costyle Silver Mirror Polarized Clip-on Flip up Plastic Sunglasses. Side-by-side, in all aspects but one, the Wangly are much superior to the Costyle. The one point where the Costyle win, and the reason I will be wearing them instead of the Wangly, is the Costyle mostly cover my lens whereas the Wangly fall short by quite a bit. The Wangly are better designed and are much better made; plus, for the same money, you get a hard plastic case and an extra pair of rubber tips. The clip-on attachment fingers of the Wangly are at least 1/4" longer, thus gripping the glasses much more securely. The lens of the Wangly are mounted lower and not wasted by being attached too far above the mount; this is a bad fault of the Costyle, there is too much of the lens wasted above the clip-on mount. In order for the Wangly to be perfect and the all around winner, at least for my purposes, they need to be at least 5/16" taller and 3/8" wider. They are fine for smaller glasses, but not many glasses are so small; most are quite a bit larger. On the glasses I intend to use them with, the Wangly fall 1/4" short of completely covering the height and 5/16" short of covering the width. Not only does this lack of coverage make for some distortion of view, but it also makes it very obvious that you are wearing clip-ons. Otherwise, these are wonderful for smaller glasses. Wangly, if you are listening --- please make these exactly like they are except with much larger lens.

I’ve had these for 3 years, but now they are very annoying. these glasses have 3 parts, and overtime the hinge mechanism comes apart very easily. it takes minutes to put back together. i just bought another companies, hoping that they have something to hold the hinge together more easily then not at all. the little silicon parts to protect scratching came off years ago, and are definitely to small to be found, but that’s another issue. not a bad product, but don’t think this will be great

These are actually nice to my surprise. Have been wanting prescription sunglasses but too expensive. Bought these based on price and reviews. They truly work well. Not pretty that's for sure, but I did not get these for fashion. Besides, I wear them just in the car. Very light weight and not a noticeable change in "feel" with my prescription glasses. Easy to put on and off. The mechanism could be smaller but not bad. You may see the arms at the inside corner of your vision or the clip just above your nose. However, after a short time, you get used to it and then don't really notice. Easy flip up to see in darker places but because there is no frame, need to use just the edge or will leave finger prints/smudges on the lens. I am very impressed how these do not distort my vision at all. Will have to see how long the lens stays unscratched/damaged. I got brown and blacks. Blacks are good for very clear and direct sun, otherwise a tad dark for my liking but good to keep in car for those really bright days. Brown are perfect for all round use. They are polarized but only slightly cause vision related issue with polarization. What I mean is, polarized sunglasses tend to make it impossible to see LCD dashboard details or your phone screen and also reveals the blue dots throughout a windshield. All of which I hate about polarized lenses. These are the same but for some reason only slightly. I can still see my phone and dash details and the blue dots across the windshield are only slight. Although flimsy, the plastic case they come in offers better protection than just those material sleeves. For this price, can't go wrong Update. Have been using these now for 3 months constantly when driving. So far no issues. No damages to the clips, support frame, hinge, springs or lenses. No scratches or permanent marks either. I always keep them in their case when not in use and only handle them by the clip and not the lens itself. Use the brown more than the black for all round use but like the blacks for really bright days.

I have been using them mostly for driving and they do their job well. They are light, easy to put on and off, and the sun protection is decent. My only problem with the product is that the clip on top (above the nose) is a bit too big and it doesn't look good when you wear it, that is why I often avoid wearing them outside and wear only for driving, but other that that it's a good product which I used for quite a while now and it's still in good condition.
