Slow burn, So Good
Candles remain a simple and reliable source of light, whether for emergencies, prayer, or setting a calm atmosphere. Beeswax candles, in particular, stand out for their natural, soothing fragrance that adds to the overall experience without being overpowering. They’re compact and easy to store, making them a practical addition to cupboards, emergency kits, or a go-bag. Another advantage is their durability—being wax-based, they’re naturally water-resistant and can handle storage in less-than-ideal conditions. A major strength is their long burn time, with these candles lasting up to 12 hours. Compared to standard paraffin candles—which often burn faster and can produce more soot—beeswax tends to burn cleaner and longer. Soy candles can be a cleaner alternative to paraffin, but they typically don’t match the same burn time or structural durability, especially in warmer conditions. They’re not windproof, of course, but in most indoor or controlled environments, they perform exactly as expected. Overall, beeswax candles are a dependable and versatile option—offering longer burn time, cleaner performance, and a more natural scent than many common alternatives. They’re useful in emergencies, but just as effective for everyday ambiance.

Nice but pricey
Nice beeswax candles for my lantern. They are pricey for their size compared to other beeswax candles out there. They are bright enough in my tent so that I can see. They will last well over 8 hours as I use them to keep condensation out of my tent.

Lovely, scented candles. Wicks need some improvement though.
These candles are wonderfully scented. I use them for camping with my Candle Lantern. The placement of the wicks in several of them were 'off center' a bit and when I initially lit the wick with one candle it burned down to a tiny numb and fizzled out. It took some work to start it. With the high price of these candles I suggest the vendor be more precise on the placement of the wicks and work to create a wick that won't 'fizzle out' with only a tiny numb when you start the first lighting of the candle. Perhaps adding a coating of wax on the wick or having a thicker contruction or different vendor for the wick material would help. The off center placement of the wick in a couple means that the candle doesn't burn as evenly. Overall, though, I got them to work and they are solidly constructed, very dense beeswax of great quality and smell great and last long.

Buenas y duraderas
I found these candles to be very good. They have a simple, nice design and light easily with a steady flame. I’ve used them for several hours and they burn evenly without smoke or mess. They’re great for creating a calm atmosphere or for decoration. They do their job well and I would recommend them.

Works as advertised
Pricey but just tested one on an overnight camping trip with low temps in the 40's. Candle did burn for 8 hours (I did trip the wick to 1/3 inch), and did not drip/run at all inside the UST lantern. I also did not detect any chemical or paraffin smells while it was burning. I think the people reporting not getting good burn times and drippage may have too long of a wick

Perfect for Mini Candle Lantern
First: Yes, they are really very expensive for candles. These fit into UCO (or similar) breakdown candle lanterns. The lanterns usually come with paraffin candles, which are great and last a long time. These replacement candles are made from beeswax, however. They do last considerably longer than the paraffin versions. What I really like about them, however, is that they give off a really pleasing, mild scent as they burn. I use these when I'm illuminating the inside of my tent or cabin rather than the other ones. I also appreciate that they are a natural resource. The quality is high, and they burn very evenly and as long as advertised. My experience is that the wicks on these have been self-trimming and have never broken off between uses. These seem to have held up well in the hot environments of the desert, my enclosed gear box, and the interior of my truck, never melting to the point of being misshapen. But the cost, you say? Well, yeah. For me, it's a value proposition: I enjoy and prefer the gentle glow of candlelight when I'm camping or backpacking, over the bright light and hiss of my white-gas-driven light whenever I can help it. They do last a good, long while, too, and I figure that the per-hour cost of these set me back a little over a quarter. That, and the fact that they cost only a little more than the paraffin version for an emergency/camping light that will never run out of batteries or suffer a broken mantle make them well worth it for me. That, and the fact that there is nothing that smells quite like a burning beeswax candle. Besides, I go through these so slowly that I don't have to buy them that often. Five stars for a high quality, well-made product that lasts.
