VIVO VESA Adapter Designed for Acer and Viewsonic Monitors, MOUNT-AR240H

The VIVO VESA Adapter MOUNT-AR240H works very well for its intended purpose. Installation was quick and easy, and the adapter has a solid, durable construction. It attaches easily to my desk’s monitor arms and feels secure once installed. I especially like the finger-tightening screws, which make installation much more convenient since you don’t need any tools. Overall, this is a well-designed and easy-to-use product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I highly recommend this product!

I’ve been looking for an adapter for my work provided ViewSonic and it fit perfectly. I’ve been wanting to lift my monitor with a VESA system and the adapter was key! It works great!

Bought a stand for dual monitors and then figured out they didn't have the versa connections needed (the monitors). This is the second time I have purchased these. The only thing is that they make the monitor stick out a little farther than I expected. However that is a knock on me for buying the cheaper monitor that doesn't have the versa connections. These are really simple to install and work perfectly.

First, let me be clear, what I'm about to say was probably self inflicted, and should not really be taken out on the bracket. However, if you install the bracket incorrectly, you run the risk of irreplaceably damaging your monitor. For that reason alone I've given the easy to install 2 stars. Also, considering I ruined a $100+ monitor, the value for money takes a noticeable hit as well. I bought two of these brackets to go with my Acer R240HY bidx monitors. First one, installed smoothly, no issues. Second one, I "thought" I had the bracket installed properly, I heard it click as the instructions mentioned. I fastened the mounting plate to the back of the monitor, and when I went to attach it to the arms, I heard a crack and the bracket had snapped off the back of the monitor housing. It is plastic so completely ruined. Due to the damage I couldn't even re-install the stand, or the tilting mechanism, so the monitor is basically useless except for a screen. Again, probably my fault, but it was a $100 mistake. Do your due diligence when installing this bracket. Otherwise, everything works great.

It is said, that "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" but it's not a trick that you were selling. I was nervous and scared thinking that I made a mistake and bought something that doesn't fit my monitor. Well, this time, the Vivo adapter fit and the installation was so simple. No tools were needed or used. I always try to make my home more efficient with the growing needs for technology. What I searched for was actually what I needed to fit my computer monitor mount and for this I am truly grateful. The brain was created before technology, give yourself a pat on the back that you have made a difference. God bless y'all.

I wanted to mount a monitor (Acer) that turns out wasn't designed to be mounted. It was disappointing to see that I'd have to buy a new monitor, and I really didn't want to/couldn't justify spending the money when the one I had was perfectly fine other than the mount. When I found this attachment by Vivo, I was so hopeful and excited that it would work. And it does beautifully. The only thing I would mention is that when taking it off or the original monitor attachment off, the metal edge is very sharp and requires a blunt force to push it out of the base. It can cut you if you are not careful. My monitor is the Acer R240HY if it helps anyone.

A friend gave me a dual-monitor mount and I quickly attached it to my desk and mounted on of my monitors. But then I noticed my second monitor didn't have the required VESA mounting holes and I was sad. But a quick search for an adapter and up popped this product. It looked like it would work, but also seemed like it might be flimsy - like the monitor wouldn't feel as solidly mounted as the one with the built-in mounting system. To be honest, it doesn't feel quite as solid, but the difference is very, very slight. It has as much to do with the different weight of the monitors as it does with the mounting system. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I definitely recommend ordering this adapter. It works great!

This was so easy to snap into the back of my Acer Monitor (SB220Q). I then attached the plate to a desk mount arm. The plate was purchased because my monitor is ultra slim and does not already have screw holes in its back. The pictures are of the back and underside of the monitor so that you can see the distance between where it's connected and the plate. It's a large gap, so it should work for regular sized monitors (not just ultra slim). From the front, it's not noticeable that there is a gap. I only put four stars because I paid $19.99 for the attachment plate (and the arm mount i attached it too was $30), so of course I wanted it cheaper. But it was SUPER easy to install, like click and go, compared to a contraption I bought that I ended up returning.

Muy buen producto, me llevo en 3dias a pesar de venir desde USA, ningún cobro por aduana, solamente el envío, El material es resistente, yo puse mi monitor en vertical, a pesas de ser para usarlo normal, yo no he notado ningún problema, muy resistente incluso si usas el monitor vertical, parece que fuera el original que viniera en la caja, enbona a la perfección, PD soy de Puebla y llegó al 100.

Me salvo del error de no ver si mi monitor era compatible con un soporte VESA. Me gustó, se siente de buena calidad.
