Is this good for postcards?

Depends on your printer. My Brother printer wouldn't print on it. The paper jammed the printer when I tried to print A4 sheets.

Anyone uses on HP envy printer? How is it?

Don't know that printer, but on my Canon iX6850 it was best to feed sheets one at a time, 2 or more jamming. Good quality prints though.

does it has a smooth surface? I bought a Satin finish but it was grainy

Yes it is exceptionally smooth, feeding can be a problem however with the heavier papers,my printer has a rear feed tray which gives a relatively flat feed path!
