These work great in belt-driven high-precision gear transfer applications
I'm an astronomy fan. My telescope mount performs precise movements based upon radial motion transfer from two high-precision stepper motors that perform 12,800 micro-steps per shaft rotation. Each stepper motor turns a 10-tooth gear that is attached to a drive axis. I use RobotDigg 140-2GT belts to transfer movement to 40-tooth gears that drive my telescope mount's movements. I've found the belts to effectively transfer very slow motions (during what we refer to in astronomy as "star tracking", where we move the telescope slowly to keep a given star in sight) and to effectively transfer fast motions (when I direct the telescope to point to a different object in the sky -- what we call "slewing"). I'm quite pleased with the performance of the belts. I definitely will buy others, should the current belts (and my five sets of backup belts!) ever wear out as a result of persistent usage. I've been using 1 set of belts for about 2.5 months, and I see no signs of wear and/or loss of ability to perform.

These belts fit my telescope mount drive system. I haven’t had to replace them yet but I figured that spares would be prudent, at this price.
