Invaluable peace of mind for serious reflux baby
Our daughter was a preemie and had very scary reflux episodes early on to the point where it looked like she was choking even hours after she ate. After switching to this formula, we did not have any more scary episodes. She would still spit up sometimes, but it seemed like that was more so because she was eating too much at a time and once we figured that out, it really was minimal spit up and definitely no big reflux episodes that were keeping us up at night. The peace of mind that came after switching to this formula was invaluable. Our baby definitely did get constipation alongside drinking this formula, but with the addition of a probiotic and some constipation ease (mommy’s bliss) that was pretty well managed.

Life Changer.
My son was born 4 weeks early and spent 20 days in the NICU. After we got him home, he was fussy with breast milk and not sleeping well. We spoke to our pediatrician about this and he stated he may have an intolerance to dairy. He suggested my wife stop drinking dairy. This however was difficult for my wife to do and then wait to see if it even made a difference. He obtained some free samples of Alimentum and noticed a big difference right away with him (less fussy). The only problem was he was begin to have severe acid reflux to the point where he was choking and having difficulty breathing. This was very scary and painful to watch him go through. We made another trip to the pediatrician who then gave us a prescription for Zantac which only helps with the burning of the acid reflux. He then tried Nutramigen to see if there would be any type of change and get rid of the choking spells. He was still having difficulty breathing at times just out of the blue in the middle of sleeping with the formula we were using. While no doubt in my mind Alimentum and Nutrimegen are good formulas (just not for our situation. After we spoke to a neighbor about our issues, she bought us an 8 pack of the premixed bottles of the Enfamil A.R. as her son had a lot of the same problems She was under the impression we were already using it as we told her we were using a "special formula". After literally the first bottle we were impressed and my son hardly spit up at all. We finished the 8 pack and have been using the powder since(going on 6 weeks). My son still continues to have spit up (sometimes a decent about and sometimes none at all after a bottle) but has not had the extreme acid reflux he did prior to us using this formula. We are no longer afraid of when he goes to sleep he will wake up choking and not being able to breathe. If you are having any of the same symptoms as we were dealing with I highly recommend this product. We are going through about a box a week now.

Use a Size 2 nipple for Dr Brown bottle
The only formula my 6 month old tolerates. She threw up formula and breast milk since the day she was born. This is formulated so the rice powder is already added in in its own formulation. My baby did not gain a lot of weight on this product like she would of had i continued to add rice to her bottle. If your using Dr Brown bottles purchase a size 2 nipple because the liquid is a little thicker than regular formula. So despite the babys age you need to use a size 2 nipple. These refill bags are to be used in the enfamil tubs which is highly convenient that you can use the same tub over again. I also got these on sale and the price was excellent. It was a few weeks worth of formula that was delivered right to my door.

Minor Savings, Major Convenience!
If you’re reading this review you already know how expensive formula can be—it’s brutal! However the bulk purchase does help save a little bit of money. The much greater advantage to this purchase is the convenience of having formula on hand instead of discovering at the worst possible time that you don’t have an ‘extra’ can of formula stashed away. Each of the 4 boxes in the case actually has 2 separate bags of formula within which is just right for refilling the plastic canisters. While this case of bulk formula was a significant up front cost, I’m happy with the purchase offering a slight savings as well as reducing the number of ‘oh no’ late night trips to the store for my daughter & son in law to keep my granddaughter happy & healthy.

Lifesaver for Reflux
This absolutely saved us with our twins who had horrible reflux. It doesnt clog nipples and definitely reduces reflux symptoms. My girls also didnt have any stomach or intestinal issues with it either. Ordering in bulk was a gamechanger too. Saved money and was so convenient to have it sent directly to us on a schedule.

Good for babies that spit up
Enfamil AR formula is the best thing that helped our baby who spits up a lot. I bought it in bulk size, which was the most economical. I use doctor brown bottles, And you must use a size up nipple when using this formula, because it is thicker than normal. For a 2-3 month old, I recommend size 2 nipple. The package directions say to let it set for 5 minutes and then it will thicken. But you don't have to wait five minutes.

Life saver
My son has severe acid reflux and this is the only formula he can tolerate. Anything that's a thin liquid he just starts to power puke. We saw a huge difference within hours of changing him to this. We haven't had any of the clumping issues other people have, however it does not completely dissolve until its sat for a bit but that's because as it states it thickens in the tummy. We did have to change to a level 2 nipple for him to use his bubbas because it seems to be to thick for level 1 and clogs the nipples. This formula has been a lifesaver for us despite how expensive it was to go from breast to formula. I was pretty upset at first but my son is gaining weight now and not constantly starving so I've put aside my own feelings on having to formula feed because he's healthy and thriving. As a new mom who was dead set on breast feeding this formula has given me comfort in knowing my little boy isn't constantly puking anymore and is getting nutrition. Here's to hope that he'll grow out of having acid reflux but until then, thanks enfamil!
