So far I have used it only on beaches. On one case the tide came in and I had to travel through about 6 inches of water to get back to the vehicle. My gear stayed dry. The tires did sink some in the soft very wet sand but not so much as to cause a problem. You have to keep some equipment on the seat for "ballast" or it will tip over.Price when you add accessories is way to high for this low level of technology.I'm not sure if I would buy this again.
