It too meets our needs but I was quite disappointed to discover that the sliding lense capability had been deleted. The shoe for mounting the accessory light is also barely acceptable. It is precarious. In summary: The product does its job, but considering the price, the manufacturer could have and should have delivered its customers a much better unit for a few additions cents of production cost!I do want to add that the supplied Vivitar wide angle lense is better than the one on my previous unit. It is a surprisingly good lense.Still unhappy that it cannot just be slid out of the way rather that having to be removed. You'll have to buy a scratch/screen protector because you cannot fit the iPad into the Makayama with a protective case. I do wish the case had side handles for better handling when not locked on a tripod. A little too expensive for the quality of this mount ($39 at the most!). The wide angle lens is useful along with the 2 hot shoes. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Ummm, not sure what to think. *by P***T on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2015* The media could not be loaded.  It does 'work' with the iPad Air 2 but for $70 it should be made for the Air 2.
