Could you watercolour over a printed outline without the printer ink bleeding?

If you're printing the outline with an inkjet printer, I think that the print will bleed when you apply watercolour, because inkjet printer ink is water soluble. This will happen whatever type of paper you use. One solution might be to spray a light coat of clear lacquer over the printed sheet before applying watercolour. This technique works when using an inkjet printer to produce water-slide decals on decal paper and it completely fixes the ink, even when immersed in water. However, there's a possibility that the lacquer coat might then cause the watercolour to bead, so this needs testing.

The paper itself doesn't crack, but the coating will do so along a firm crease.

Is this paper good for sewing through when book binding?

I'm not sure but I would expect so. I find the paper quality to be excellent. It's coating and thickness is ideal for double sided printing. I would say it's worth it to try as it's a reasonable price. I made a few books with it but I have them bound with small screw post fasteners.

Is this paper thick enough to be used as a planner?

I think the weight of this paper is good enough for a planner, a calendar or most things really. Its way superior to copy paper in weight as well as the way the colours pop. I use this paper in my arts and craft work including making planners, and have used it as both pages and as backgrounds for artwork or even ephemera. I personally wouldn’t use any heavier paper than this for a planner, as I dont think it would be economical, and heavier paper would be harder to bend or would be too rigid for me if you know what i mean. Anyway in my humble opinion this paper is great.
