This was cheap, but quite good quality for £10, it was bought for a spare bed , so bought a second one for my own use. Cannot buy that amount of material for £10 so it was worth it

Whenever I buy something on amazon, I generally take 3 things into consideration; 1. Do I need it 2. How much is it 3. What do reviews say So when I needed to get a duvet/pillow case set for a bed my dog normally perches on, let's just say I didn't want to spend a lot and didn't expect Egyptian cotton! I just wanted something to cover the expensive ish duvet and pillows. I went to the pub last night, had two pints, they cost 12 quid (they weren't pints in wetherspoons). I bought this duvet cover/pillow case set for under 12 quid, think it was £11.17. As you can see, you have to be somewhat realistic in your expectations. I read the top reviews and some of the most recent reviews to get some idea what I was getting for my 11 quid. Most were telling of some garbage texture or fabric (but it advertises itself as a polyester cotton mix so I knew this), other say they washed it and it faded (cue me not washing it), some say it tore (mine hasn't yet). All in all, my expectations were low and having received it, it exceeds my expectations so 5* from me, purely based on expectations and price. You can't buy something for 11 quid and expect some mega high quality. The duvet cover on the master bed is 100quid, believe me when I say that is really nice. If I experienced ill effects from washing that or poor workmanship, I'd be upset. But for something just over a tenner and less than 2 pints, how could I write a shoddy review?

I got this mostly for it's low cost and quick delivery turn around, as I was in the middle of moving house and needed sheets for the bed asap. After two months use and a couple of washes, the sheets are balling and wearing away a little already, especially the pillow cases. They're absolutely fine and not noticeably bad unless you're sleeping in them. But it's definitely a cheap set. They're very thin, too, but still relatively soft all things considered.

Lovely bedding set.

Was happy when it first arrived and put it on but after two days i noticed a massive rip down the side where its joined together and obviously if i keep using the bedding its just going to tear even more, no idea how to request a refund or anything? £14 is still a lot of money if it doesn't even last you a month..very cheap material and thin and too big for a double meaning its baggy if that makes sense. Pillows have also turned colour after washing, would not recommend this bedding at all! you've all been warned, don't go cheap like i did trying to get an edge as in reality you lose long term as now i have to buy another bedding set but this time wont go cheap. Have also noticed many other places where it’s losing colour and threads

Great value for money at under a tenner for superking. Can never get any superking for that price. It's not that thick but doesn't need to be.

The quality feels incredibly cheap. Very thin and synthetic like. Hoping that washing it will improve somewhat, but do not think this will last very long. Also, it is advertised as reversible. "Reversible" does not mean "turn it over"! FYI, this is the first time in 20 years or so that I have felt the need to write about a product from Amazon!

Extremely thin fabric. It can be easily ripped off. The only nice thing about it is the patterns and colors otherwise don’t buy it.
