All YT1F controllers (including YT1FF) are the same. The one with 2 F's just has a few more features that most AC's never use anyway. The big question everyone has is How to change from C to F?Found it: YMGI Symphony Solo (58) & Choir (59) Series Remote Control Tutorial Videopress the MODE and - buttons simultaneously while the unit is turned OFF.The controller works just like the original that came with my AC, no problems.

After reading the reviews, I ordered this remote to replace the original, which stopped working. It will turn the unit off and on, change the temp, etc. but only in Celsius. The solution was to "turn the unit off, press 'mode' and '-' buttons at the same time" did not work. Nothing worked to convert to Fahrenheit. This is for a guest house, and cannot be used.

This item was advertised as being in Fahrenheit. The display is in Celsius, and the directions to make the display appear in Fahrenheit did not work for me.

Had to buy a replacement remote for the one that originally came with our Gree AC unit. This remote works great. Came in Celsius mode but easily switched to Fahrenheit by turning off the AC unit and holding the MODE and "-" button at the same time.
