I am using these for syringing subq fluids in my cat..but they are not sterile....can they be sterilized?

I used these tubes to tube-feed by dog for almost a year, and kept them clean using my dishwasher. I never had any issues - but this was for feeding - not for sub-q fluids. I also administered subq fluids, but via disposable bags and needles. The tubes remained in excellent shape even after a year of continuous machine washing. I don't know if this was helpful. If you have any doubts, check with your vet.

Can I use 60 ml luer plunger in the 60 ml catheter syringe?
