Simple to use, looks great!
My mother and I just put up this border in my 2nd son's room. This border was soooo easy to do. We have a fairly large house so his room is no where near small. With two windows and two door ways leaving very large sections to be done between, and we STILL didn't have to cut it into smaller sections! We used a paint tray (the kind you use wall rollers with) to hold the warm water. Measured and marked the walls with a pen, straight line laser level combo, and measuring tape. We held the dry border up against the wall window to window/door to door etc and then marked it and cut. Then simply rolled it up backwards and slowly unrolled it while letting run though the water in the pan. We used both dish rags and a large sponge to smooth the edges working from the center of the border out as to help move the paste from behind out to the edges (thus making them NOT roll up!). This border was by far easier to use than my first son's room (Locomotion by Koala Baby) even better than the duckie border in their bathroom!

Wallpaper wouldn't stick!
This was frustrating at best and the wallpaper was never put up. We tried a little water, lots of water, but nothing worked. Never tried using glue because we weren't sure what it would do to the walls. Luckily, this was the worst prodcut we had to deal with.

Cute border, inadequate adhesive.
I have used the border twice (two homes) and the border looks nice. Before you take on the task of installing it, make sure you run by your local hardware store and get yourself some wall border adhesive (it is a bottle with a little roller on top). The glue on the back of the wall border is not enough to properly adhere to wall. Typically the bottom just comes off the wall and sections lift off if you dont have enough glue on there. Looks good though and worth the effort.

Not as bad as they say
While it wasn't a cake-walk to put up this border, I didn't find it to be quite as difficult as the other reviewers did. At first I tried using large strips of the border and putting it up all at once. Doing this resulted in the same problems others reported. Then I started cutting it into smaller strips (about 3 - 4 feet each). I carefully cut along places in the border that were easy to line up once they were placed on the wall (you can't even tell where I cut now that it is dry). I also made sure and soaked the border in water slightly longer than the 10 seconds recommended on the instructions. After soaking, I unrolled the boarder as I pulled it out of the water, leaving the inside of the roll in the water until the end, so that all of the glue was exposed to water at some point in the process. It was well worth the effort - very adorable in our nursery!

Nice & Easy - I did it myself!
I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant, and I had no problem hanging this border up by myself while my husband was at work. I used the suggestion of another reviewer - cutting it into smaller sections, 3-4 feet, before hanging them. Also, I used a washcloth and not a sponge (as the directions say) to smooth down the border once it was up. It was very easy!

Like Butter!
My husband and I had no trouble hanging this border. It went very fast and was super easy. It did help to cut the border while it was still dry into smaller lengths and do one piece at a time. My husband would hang a piece while I would prep another one. We matched the pattern at the edge where we cut and it looks fantastic. We didn't bother sanding down the texture and it still turned out fabulous. It makes the room so don't hesitate to try it!

No problems here!
Hanging the Zanzibar border was the first time both my husband and I ever tried to hang wallpaper/border. We hung it around the middle of the room (in place of a chair rail) and it took us less than a 1/2 hour. Very easy and it hasn't fallen down yet! (It's been about a month). Very cute addition to the nursery!

Cute, but doesn't stick
I have had to reapply this border on numerous occasions. It just won't stick. I even tried double-sided tape and buying wallpaper glue, but nothing works. It is very cute though and goes beautifully with the set.
