Not leather but a very soft but strong fabric combination, I would highly recommended these and will purchase again when I need a replacement.

They are a tight, secure fit while letting you have fingers exposed. Slightly padded with a surface within the palm to aid grip. They would be just the job for the tough murder obstacles.
