KYB SB101 - Strut Boot

Bought this when I replaced my strut and the quality is good. It’s been two years now since I installed it and it has been holding pretty well. I would recommend this product.

I'm not sure if this is for the front or the back strut/dust boots, but I have installed both front bellows and I KNOW that the KYB dust boots are The top of the pyramid when it comes to quality. They protect and keep the piston clean, keeping out contaminates that will eventually etch their way into the metal. KYB has proved the smoothest ride I've ever experienced without actually buying a brand new cadillac or towncar. Yeah, any KYB product is THE BoMB baby(compared to any competator)!!! Dominating the scene, the whole kit and kaboodle-the whole enchalada, amigios! , I'd like to say, KYB products are THE BEST! Thank you for all that you are. UPDATE: 5.4.15 SO I just glanced up on my shelf and the damn part(S) are still waiting for me to install them. I think I was going to wait to purchase brand new back KYB AGX's, but it seems like I've been distracted doing something else. Believe me, when you haven't lifted a finger on a car for ten to fifteen years, incredable isn't it?, you suddenly become very backed up with general preventative maintanance conundrums...money is so hard to hold onto during the first weekend after payday, as do the bears go poop in the woods?? Of course they do and yes I am out of money by the following Monday....man, no wonder why I can't focus....it's those fumes from the fuel filter I just r & r'd an hour or so ago...

I used KYB SB101 on my 2000 Toyota Celica when I replaced the front shocks. The original rubber ones were falling apart. I took the strut apart, cut off the old rubber boot away, reused the top rubber insulator and the kyb strut boot in its place. I cut off 1" of the top bump stop. The strut boot is plastic and flexible. The bump stop attaches to the top of the strut boot and keeps it centered. Works perfect so far and no noise. Seems like a good generic aftermarket part.

Great quality I used it on my 03 lexus is300 kyb shock and it was a little big but made it work and it’s fine

KYB Strut boots ~~!!Time after I read these are not,,never, the correct fit! But its after Thanksgiving Turkeys are done for the year!!So ,,I thought ! Gooble Gooble!! Call me anything you want ,,,but Turkey is a must after I ordered this part from KYB!Ring, Ring , Hello?? Yes this is Turkey Headquarters,,,,head Turkey,,speaking!!Yes I did order the KYB strut boots (bellows) as advertised for my Chrysler . Did they fit? Of Course not!! Yes I had to take a drill ,,,drill the yellow top bellows out as it did not allow for fitting past the head of the strut,,in other words went 3/4 the way on ,,but stuck the last part of the way on!KYB must know about this by now,,that's why we have a Thanksgiving Big Bird Bake to get rid of last years Turkeys as we are way over populated! Best advice ? Give the KYB Bird the word!! Do not order KYB strut boots ,, order Monroe,,Sachs any body but KYB strut boots!!Its cheaper to do so ,,and the quality on this part is the same from anyone. Unless you love a part that does not fit ,has to be returned,, or take a old drill,,a propane torch ,heat the drill end hot hot hot, then drill the yellow part out!Hard to do when drill is cold.By now,,, if you think ,,birds of feather,,hang together,,,buy from KYB and you'll have plenty of company ,,Gooble Gooble~!Pass the feather!! Hee hee !! Hey ? What am I laughing about????

My 2000 infinity

Works as designed.

This is a universal fit part, so don't expect OEM fit and finish. Used on my 2004 Focus SVT with the Ford Racing suspension kit. It does fit, however not as tight as the OEM around the struts. Quality is decent.

These do not work with 8th gen Honda civic (2006-2011) despite it saying they will. There is no way to attach them to the upper strut mount/top hat.
