More than just a bait pale
Best bait station ever. My son and I will use the cast net early in the morning to capture bait. This bucket is amazing. We live in South Carolina and saltwater fish a minimum of three times a week. This bucket does not heat up. It maintains its temperature and our bait remains alive all day without water changes. We even put the bait pale through another test. We took a trip to Cincinnati, and my son picked out two saltwater fish at a local pet store that were about 6 inches in length. Both fish remained in the bucket for 7 days before we decided to make the 10 hour drive home to Charleston, SC. The bucket did exactly as promised, and exceeded our expectations. Both fish made the journey and are now living in a 125 gallon aquarium in the kitchen. So this bait bucket is perfect for those of us that fish as well as for the person with an aquarium looking for a safe way to transport their newly acquired pet.

Great bucket
This is a wonderful live bait carrier, the only downside is the battery, it can be hard to take off and get back on, as well as battery needs replacing often as much as you use it

Great product!! Saltwater tested.
This bait well is awesome!! I used it this past weekend to keep some extra live shrimp alive and they survived the whole weekend🤙🏼 Great alternative to an expensive bilge livewell I would suggest this one to anyone who uses live bait. I do a lot of flats fishing the 19 qt is a good size for my smaller boat and doesn’t take up too much space. The aereator that it comes with also has seals hasn’t gotten messed up from the Florida rain so that’s great too. Expect it to last a while might do a video on my YouTube channel in a couple months about it with an update on how it’s held up. This was a great buy for me hopefully it will work well for you as well. Tight lines boys(and gals) !!! @greenebasedfishing

12V cigarette adapter connection on aerator corrodes very quickly
Love my 19 gal bait bucket. Fish a lot of brackish water in SE Louisiana; not really high salinity salt water. Use it mostly to transport bait from bait shop to boat aerator. The adapter port corroded almost immediately. While it may not sound like it here, I take good care of my equipment, rinsed with fresh water, cleaned, and wiped down after each use. Had to refurb the adapter port on the aerator, remove rust, cleaned the post on the aerator. Live & learn. Once cleaned I doped it with some dielectric compound. New buyers beware: if you use the 12V cigarette adapter, do know if it quits (unplugs itself at the port on aerator, corrodes, etc) it will kill the aerator. When adapter is used it bypasses (shuts down) the battery pack. So if adapter snafus — Bang! No aeration. Pay attention to it. Be sure to have good batteries on hand as backup. When you get your bait box be sure to treat the adaptor port to keep water out (use dielect, copper sheild, etc). I rated as I did here as I think Frabil can/should improve the design to make it more rugged. When you pay this much for an outdoor product intended for harsh exposure it oughta hold-up to intended use.

One serious minnow bucket
Frabill has a very good product here. I bought the Magnum bait station for crappie fishing a watershed behind my house. I purchased the 19 qt version because I wanted enough capacity to fish for a weekend. I asked for 4 dozen minnows and the bait shop owner threw about twice that many in there. He told me that they were the last of his bait from last week, as it was delivery day, and to expect to lose a few. This Frabill bait station has kept those minnows alive for three days with only one water change! That’s plenty good enough in my book. Frabill aerators are always good and this one is built into the lid so it isn’t snagging or hanging up on something which is why I ultimately purchased this particular bait holder. Seems well built and sturdy. The only change I would recommend is the air stone. This thing deserves something better than the standard little 1”x3/4” cylinder type air stone. I ugraded mine straight away. If you believe the liveliest bait catches more fish then this is for you.

Too small
This livewell is too small and I thought it had a divider just like the bigger livewell when I looked at the pictures. Doesn’t bring the divider and it’s smaller than you think. Compared to the pictures on here on Amazon. For the money it’s not worth it. Would need two of this size to have two different types of bait. So I was only able to take live shrimp on my fishing trip and the rest had to be frozen bait. Waste of my day on the boat because nothing was going after live shrimp

This is perfect for any fisherman
This was a gift for my dad for christmas and wow am i surprised at how nice it is. i got the 19qt and its perfect for not only bait but any pan fish. All the parts work well together and make sense for a person who fishes a lot. you can easily sit on this and use it like a bucket seat. the measuring lines on top make it quick and easy for pan fish. Overall fit and finish seem top notch and would say to anyone looking that you should add this to the collection

Review of the Max Magnum 19-Quart Cooler with Fibril Aerator
I recently picked up the Max Magnum 19-quart cooler with the Fibril aerator, and overall, I’m quite pleased with it. The cooler itself is robust, keeps bait fresh for hours, and is perfect for my fishing trips. However, there's a small yet significant issue with the aerator that is easily fixed. The problem lies with the air stone that comes with the cooler. After just a couple of weeks, even with regular cleaning of stone, I noticed the aerator motor started to bog down and eventually burned out. The culprit? The original air stone creates too much pressure, overwhelming the motor. Thankfully, this is an easy fix. By replacing the air stone with a higher quality one that offers better air flow and reduces pressure build-up in the pump, the aerator works flawlessly. The aerator would always fail after a few hours after a few weekends of 24hour use. I recommend choosing an air stone with finer texture and better porosity. Once I made this switch, the aerator ran smoothly for a 48 hour test, and I haven't had any issues since. In summary, the Max Magnum cooler is a great product, but the vendor should consider upgrading the air stone immediately to ensure long-term reliability of the aerator. Fabril is hurting their good brand.

Cool unit
Sturdy product and works well… just wish that I bought the smaller one for ice fishing.

Insanely loud
They need to add a 120 volt plug to this system. Other than that it's okay.
