Best mainstream jazz in a while
There is nothing very unconventional about this recording but it still is the favorite mainstream jazz album that I've bought in a long while. The trumpet playing is outstanding and the production values are of the highest quality. Sandke is certainly at or near the top of the best jazz trumpeters around.
