Heavy duty extension, works perfect.
I have a WR250R and a Beta 350 RR-S, both have heated 12V wire for heated jacket and gloves. I needed an extension for when I stand on the bikes and this Gerbing extension is the perfect cord. It stays coiled and short for when I'm seated but if I stand and need more length, the coil will stretch.A bit pricey but worth it for being able to have heat and keep riding all winter.

Durable cable, tight coils, compatible with hotwired gear
Perfect for adding some flexibility to your positioning on the bike with plugged in. Great recoil, not at all floppy.

Good product.
Works as it should.

Strong - maybe too strong
The cord is a heavy duty one. It is tough to stretch it. It may be too resistant to legthening to make it good for motorcycle jacket to bike connection. But, at least it’s not flimsy!

Perfect extension for heated jacket
Worked well. Never unplugged when I didn't want it to.

Good quality cable - as everything from Gerbing
Perfect extension cord to plug in my jacket and pents to my Buell xb12Ss where I installed the connector plug under the seat. Was a bit tricky with the cord of the jacket or pents itself because they were too short. So I bought this coiled cable. Now everything's perfect.

Very stiff, doesn't "uncoil" very easily
I presume you're considering this because you want a connection between say a heated jacket and your motorcycle or something so you can get off the bike without having to unplug first. Just be aware that this is a coil cord that does NOT uncoil very easily, really. You can't pull it more than say 1/2 of the coil's length before it starts pulling against you so hard that it'll unplug itself before it uncoils further.Said another way, the coils are "stiff" and don't want to uncoil easily. It may get easier/looser with time, but I don't think so. It feels like it's just made too stiff and it's never going to break in a bit and get looser.

Better Than a Straight Cord
I had used a straight 24" cord for a number of years, that would sometimes flap in the wind. This cord provides more length and the coil prevents flapping.
