Crank sensor failed after 18 months
I had heat-related engine dying problems and replaced the crankshaft sensor with this one as a precaution.Recently the car had numerous issues then completely died. The 18 month old crankshaft sensor failed, shorted. We put the old one in and the car fired right up.I would expect an original part to last for many more years than this, plus we didn't drive anywhere in 2020 so 12 months of the 18 it wasn't really even driven. The part failed way before it should have.

No problems, hopefully Chinese made AC Delco will last a long time.....
Have been using this crank sensor for a couple of months now with no problems despite it being manufactured on the “Chinese Mainland”. Needed a .20” shim, which was not included. 8mm bolt to remove and install. However, in order to get the most out of it, I needed a scanner that would perform a crank sensor relearn.

GM Part at a Substantial Savings
I've been having an issue with my 2000 ZR2 misfiring on the highway under load. I replaced the crank sensor once already when I was having different issues so I didn't suspect the crank sensor. On some advice from a forum I pulled my old sensor and it was highly worn from hitting the crank wheel. I shimmed the old sensor but it was too late, it was already damaged.I ordered this because it's an OEM AC Delco and the price is great! The dealer wanted $124! I had to wait a few days but for that much money it was worth it. I installed this sensor with a shim and the truck is running much better! I still need to have a crank relearn procedure done because even though it runs better my scanner is still recording misfires. The crank relearn should fix that issue?Edit*** Almost exactly a year later and this crank sensor went out while I was working 900 miles from where I live. When I pulled the sensor out there was no obvious signs of wear like before. It just died leaving me stranded. I replaced it with an AutoZone premium sensor and a shim and it seems to be alright now. I thought a "Genuine GM part" would last much longer than a year? It caused me a lot of stress and inconvenience.

OEM quality part, factory fit and function, easy to install
I purchased this sensor (213-3208) to replace the OEM crank position sensor on my 1999 GMC K1500 Suburban (GMT400 body, L31 Vortec 350 V8). Perfect fit and function, and very easy to install. I always recommend using OEM parts for whatever brand vehicle you are working on (AC Delco for GM, Motorcraft for Ford, etc.), and this is an excellent example of why.

Genuine AC/Delco
My 99 Tahoe 5.7 sensor went out but swapping in the one from my 99 Suburban didn't fix it. Wound up towing it home and doing extensive diagnostics. Long story short, it was the sensor, and then the Suburban started acting up so I replaced it too lol
