She's encouraging and her words are always just what I need to hear - {written just for mommas like me}. I know that you’ll love her too!This book’s timing was just perfect for this season of my life. I’m a momma to three under eight. I stay at home and my husband travels 50% of the time. We’ve been married for almost sixteen years, but knew that we needed to go back to the beginning to move forward! Though I wasn't a big fan of Becky's first book, Hope Unfolding, I was far more impressed with her second go-round. While Hope Unfolding focused on the challenges of motherhood, Love Unending focuses on the relationship with your spouse after you become a parent. The concept: 21 days to revitalize your marriage in the season of motherhood. For those of us who have children know, your marriage relationship changes with the addition of an infant. When I say this book is practical, I mean it. Each of the 21 chapters focuses on a behavior that can help every wife treat their spouse like they did back in the honeymoon stage. In putting these tips into practice, an amazing thing begins to happen. Humbleness and kindness begin to replace entitlement and harshness. I know because I tried it!Don't get me wrong, following this advice is not easy. It requires you to put aside your ego and put the other person first. In doing so, it helps bring to light the sanctifying effect of marriage. It isn't about getting what one or the other wants. It is about becoming more like Christ. Pretty counter cultural, huh? If every person thought about marriage in this way, I believe the divorce rate in our country would drop dramatically. Good concept - Love your spouse like you did when you were first married/dating BUT everyday stuff and years of marriage tend to get in the way. Men like her father are few and far between. Would appreciate this one more if there were a companion book for the husband.

My husband and I have a great marriage, but kids cause the marriage to be on the back burner. I didn't give our union the attention it deserved. This challenge caused me to reevaluate how I looked at our relationship. It rekindled our love and was not full of cliche answers to hard questions. It causes you to take a long hard look at yourself and how you love your husband. Life changing. Best money you'll spend on your marriage and much cheaper than couples therapy ;)

I purchased this after reading the Authors 1st book about motherhood. This was apart of my book club and for 21 days we explored how to continue a happy, loving life with our partners.This seriously will make you laugh, Cry, re-evaluate yourself and your actions and remind you why you are where you are today. There are bible verses which can turn some people off.. but trust me it’s not about that at all. It’s beautiful well written and each chapter I love that I can write down my thoughts, answer the question and reflect. It makes it very personal and my husband already sees a huge change and wishes he had the male version!

I loved this book and the connection Becky makes to everyday real life situations. Her writing is real, honest and fully transparent. I love how she reveals practical ways to strengthen your marriage. My husband and I have what I would say is a healthy marriage but I knew there was more. I knew we could grow more. Beckys book for mamas “hope Unfolding” refreshed my weary mamas soul so when she published “love unending” I knew it would have fresh insight that would strengthen my marriage. The book is broken up into chapters that are like action steps which I love. I don’t just want to hear how something worked for someone but how can I put it to use in my own life. I longed to strengthen my marriage and I found very real and practical ways to do this within Becky’s book “Love Unending”.What was most fun is that I didn’t tell him. I just read a chapter and focused on it within our marriage for a week. Within three weeks not only was my heart changing but he actually verbalized that he noticed a change! A change in our home and in me. As I changed he changed! It was amazing!I purchased this book a year ago and I still am putting Becky’s words of wisdom to practice.I highly recommend this book. From one wife to another. From a friend to another. I recommend this book to all my friends who have been married any length of time.Thank you Becky Thomson for pouring your heart out like you would to a friend. Well organised, easy to read book on how to show love to our husbands in very practical ways. Relevant scripture references and lovely reminders of our heavenly Father’s love to us.

Ich habe dieses Buch von einer Freundin geschenkt bekommen und habe mittlerweile noch eines zum Weiterschenken gekauft, weil es mit seinen leicht zu lesenden Kapiteln auf sehr positive und praktische Art ermutigt, an seinen Haltungen und Gewohnheiten zu arbeiten. Es ist nicht überfordernd, aber sehr herausfordernd. Hoffentlich gibt es dieses Buch bald auch auf Deutsch!

This a book you can work through when kids get into the marriage for a while and they are becoming first over your marriage. Becky helps you to remember why you love your husband, what those first feelings were before kids were here.

Much more Christian based than I thought it would be.
