Great product, well-made, easy, convenient.
I got these racks a couple weeks ago and installed them on my cross bars on my Buick Encore. They were really easy to install and didn’t require any tools. The kit comes with everything you need. Two different ways to mount them; I did both for added security, but the lock system is also great. I love that they fold down and that the strap is secured to the bar in a little notch so it doesn’t slip down your kayak when you’re on the road. These racks are great for the price and the only reason I gave four stars instead of five is that I haven’t had them very long so I can’t speak to how they will hold up to use over the summer and hopefully many summers to come. As other reviewers stated, the brackets that come with the racks will not fit a crossbar that is greater than about 2 or 2.5” wide. But there is an alternate mounting option so they can virtually be used on any set of crossbars as far as I can see.

Crossbar bracket will only fit a crossbar that is 2-1/4” or smaller.
I just bought this product and was most disappointed that the bracket that goes under the crossbar and to which the rack itself screws, will not fit my Toyota. The largest crossbar that it can handle is 2-1/4”. I gave this a 4 rating, because the customer service rep at RaxGo was very nice and understanding, but I will be returning the rack.

Great item but brackets didn’t work on my Honda .
I loved the design and ease of the product ! It came with straps and locks and was adjustable ! The down side was the mounting brackets didn’t fit my Honda ! It was a factory roof rack ! It’s looking like I may have to return the item ! Called the company and they don’t have any different brackets ! The people were very easy to deal with.

Straps dont tighten.
Works as expected. Jeep extra tall. Love the fold down feature. Straps are worthless, used my own cargo straps.

Had to cut the pre-attached tie down straps. They were a burden. Study construction.

I like the complete package of the rack + straps + velcro. Works well with my kayak. The rack feels solid and at no risk of falling off.
