Defiant Mini LED Work Light

I got 2 of these, and use one every day at work, and these take a beating, and keep on working. Nice and bright, magnetic base (holds fairly well on vertical surfaces on its own), and portable.The light is pure white, and it takes 3 AAA batteries. The casing is metal (except the plastic lens of course), and mine have hit the floor from a ladder's height multiple times, and these keep lighting up. I do think the price is high however (which is why I give 4 stars), but they are good lights, and very dependable.

I love these lights. I bought myself one from Home Depot a few years back and gave some as gifts. I have been trying to find them again since, but they were a special seasonal item. Bought two more on here because they are so handy and cheap. Very bright light with a good 180 - 200 degree direct coverage. Takes 3 AAA batteries and has a simple on/off switch. Loop up top for hanging and magnet in the base for sticking to things in the shop. It doesn't feel like a super rugged light that can take being thrown around a lot in heavy tool bags, but the aluminum body will hold up well in moderate use. Still on the same set of batteries, so I guess the battery life is good.

Very handy light to keep in your nightstand, kitchen or garage. Hexagonal ends allow the light to be positioned at different angles and to keep from rolling away. LED lights are very bright for close-up applications.

Small bright light. Magnetic bottom to hold it up against cars if you need it but I use it by my bedside as emergency light when the power goes out. It's pretty perfect. Just don't shine it in someone's eye when you turn it on; it can hurt.

good for under the car

Love this light, got 5 of them for family for Christmas stocking stuffers. It has a magnet on the bottom that is strong so you can attach it to things. We keep ours in our car for emergencies, it's super bright.

The LED is not new technology. However they are making other forms of lighting obsolete. This work light is convenient and versatile. The price is so reasonable I purchased a few.
