It just keeps getting better
My wife and grandchildren have become addicted to Harry Potter - both the books and the films. However, they have a pact that the grandchildren don't get to see the movie until they have read the book. This is good for me too as it means I can spread out the cost of purchasing the movies! Thank goodness my granddaughter is quite a slow reader but of course, she is only eight.

NOT child-friendly
I love that Amazon made this movie available (so hard to find in streaming sites), but the picture quality wasn't great. Even with our widescreen on the brightest mode, it was hard to catch everything because the film was so dark. Also worth warning that this film is truly not suitable for any book fans under 12. We made the mistake of watching it with our 8yo "tough guy" since he's been following all the books avidly and he's been having nightmares ever since. There are some horror scenes in this movie that are truly disturbing to a young audience - shame, since up until now the series has been PG and suitable for young family viewing. For committed HP readers, be prepared to view something which is a stunning but loose interpretation of the book. There are key characters and plot details from book 4 (Bagman, Dobby...) that didn't make it into the movie.

Pure Escapism!
Yet again an immersive plot, top notch acting and some amazing special effects. I thought I would have become a bit bored with another Harry Potter film but I'm not.

Love Harry Potter
Brilliant series of films. Love them from this one, as the older ones are just building the picture. The adventure starts with this one. Bought as very good used copy and worked well

Not impressed
Product came brand new but the case was smashed. Luckily the dvd isn’t harmed. Not great though as this could have been for a present, and now I have not got a case for this dvd? As this could cut your hands it’s that sharp.

My favourite Harry Potter film
The sports, adventures, variation of outdoor settings, competitions between the houses and the psychical introduction to the grown up Voldemort. This films direction will be always be my favourite out of the series 😁

I could watch it a third time
My 12 year old granddaughter wanted to watch this when she visited. Although I’d seen it before I enjoyed it as much as the first time. The special effects are still the best in a children’s film in my opinion.

Brilliant
I’m re reading the books after many years, obviously they do miss quite a bit of the book out and some of the details differ from book to movie but I think it’ll they did the movie exactly the same as the book it would be about 6hours long lol! All in all excellent franchise (I know Rowling has been problematic in the past but during lockdown I’m just re living a bit of my childhood to pass the time)
