silent on seal but like a kango in the distance when on vac & seal,only lasts for around 15 seconds but very efficient.2 spare foam like seals included and adequate starter pack.Too powerful for bread as it becomes distorted but you could always stop before it gets that far.Tried it out on a couple of cucumbers from the garden and it worked great,it seems to prefer solid items.

I love these food vacuum bags. Bought them at the same time of getting the sealer too and have always bought these. To be fair, I have never tried other brands, so I don't know if these are the "best" or not, but they definitely work for us at home.We bulk buy a lot of our meats and so it's essential that we vacuum seal them once portioned out. It's really changed the way we organise and freeze our meats. We've had meats in the freezer (accidentally) for 2 years+ and no freezer burn, no crystals, still good as the day we sealed them.It also makes defrosting a lot easier, no meat juices leaking from their original packaging or from a ziplock/food bag.All in all, love the product and will probably always buy these until they fail me!
