Granted my daughter has a big head (to hold her smart brain) I got the 9-12 month size for her when she was 6 months and I wish I had sized up one more....Because additionally it shrinks in the dryer!! But besides that, it is SO CUTE and SO PRACTICAL and I love how it protects their little necks and has a great amount of shade on her face too. I use it all the time!

Rubs small. When I got it the tag says 9-12 months. It would have been nice if that was part of the amazon description.

Had to add a chin-strap to it so she wouldn't pull it off her head in a split second.
