VIVOSUN 10" x 20.75" Durable Waterproof Seedling Heat Mat

I previously used a heating pad to germinate seeds but was concerned about exposing it to moisture. This mat gives me peace of mind due to it being waterproof. It doesn’t have temperature control but it’s designed to maintain a certain temperature above ambient temperature. I’m satisfied that it warms the soil sufficiently and so far all my seeds germinated.

This Vivosun Seedling Heat Mat has been a game-changer for me to be successful at making sourdough starter. My kitchen temperature fluctuates too much overnight, so this solved the problem. The heat mat keeps the ambient temperature consistently between 70-80° (usually 76) around the clock. The yeast is thriving. Even though the heat mat doesn't get "hot", I put a heat-resistant silicone mat underneath it as a precaution to protect the granite countertop. I also set the starter jar on a baking rack plus a thin piece of wood to keep it from coming into direct contact with the heat mat. I think it will come in handy when making baked goods that use yeast or sourdough to rise.

Maintains a consistent temperature for seed trays. Adapter runs a bit warm, though not enough to concern me as a fire hazard. True to size.

Awesome little heat mat. I got this for my key lime tree that is indoors. It was struggling to wake up from winter and I threw this under it and it absolutely took off. Pretty simple but highly useful. It’s been a couple moths and as of now it’s still doing it job just fine.

I use this heat matt to assist in bread proofing. It’s been a game changer, excellent, consistent results. I do tend to put it on a wooded bread board rather than directly on cold stone work top. Currently used once a week for over a year and a half and still works like new. 100% recommend, and great value for money.

Bought this to replace one that I had to return of a different brand. Straight out of the box before I even unrolled it, I could tell it was much better quality. It's sturdy it warms my seedlings perfectly, and it actually works. Which is a big improvement over the last one I tried.

I use it for our snake and it works well. I highly recommend using something to control power to regulate temperature. It can be plugged in directly but will heat up like 15 degrees above surrounding. So for our snake i use a smart plug with a temperature sensor that turns this on and off to keep a perfect temp

Works good, did have an issue where I think the temperatures reached above 35 degrees and my seedlings died. Could be because of the room temperature was 30©
