Works extremely well for anything I've needed to powder from the garden. Only downside is the noise, will make the dog and kids jump, but not much more than a food processor. Cleans easily but be careful removing the blades.

It is best to use it for as little time as possible just to get the job done, I also wish that it had an on - off switch besides the timer, because you can't set the timer to work exactly for a given amount of seconds and or minutes, I tried to set the timer for 15 seconds and I could not, it can't be set exactly, so it is too bad that it doesn't have an on - off switch as an alternative to the timer, for those people who prefer to use an on - off switch. I only used the grinder one time so far, to grind some spices, it worked well enough for that. Later sometime in the near future, I will try to grind seeds and grains, I hope that it works O.K. for that. It seems like a nice grinder. I wish that they would also make a good power blender, one that also was 2500w, I don't dare to blend with the grinder, It might break, I don't dare to get it wet inside while it works, it might break. Did anybody try it to use it with something wet inside of it as if it was a blender?

Doesn't really grind the grain, more like it bashes it to pieces. So you don't end up with uniform meal, instead you get particles of all sizes and a lot of flour. If you want fine grind this will do the job. If you want larger grind, this probably won't satisfy you. I use it to grind for a few seconds, then use a screen to separate the fine stuff from the larger grains which I put back in there for another few seconds, repeat until done. Works okay that way. It should be mentioned that it has no safety interlock; it can be turned on while the lid is open. The blades are blunt not sharp but it would probably hurt like hell if it got turned on while your fingers were down inside. I rate it 4 stars because, with the limitations mentioned above, it's inexpensive and does get the job done.

We used this to grind turmeric that was sundried. Filled it to 2/3 capacity and it had no problem powdering the material in 10 seconds. Be careful if you run it for too long as it heated up quite a bit in that short of time. Comes with a small screen/sifter and brush to help get material out from under the blade.

Very powerful grinder. Be careful when using it. Due to its high speed, high heat will generate from the abrasion of its blade and anything being grinded. Therefore, if material being grinded contains suger, sugar may melt and the resulting powder once cooled may stick together. Also, due to the high heat of the resulting powder, its aroma may escape. So my advice is to grind things intermittently and never continuously for too long. To get fine spice powder, I would grind it for less than 30 seconds, wait and leave it to cool down inside the grinder, then grind it again. I would repeat these steps till the powder reach the fineness I want.

This thing is much better than a lot of reviews that I had read. I forage & make mushroom tea & seasonings . As long as everything is completely dehydrated it turns everything into a fine powder. It will even pulverize Chaga, which is nearly as hard as a rock, into a super fine dust. The bowl gets hot, but the motor has yet to even seem like it is challenged at all. Mushroom people, You won’t be disappointed!

Value for money. It’s really good for spice powders. Especially good if you want to grind it to a fine powder. It just takes a minute or two to grind. I would recommend it.

This is not the luxury porche of grinders and I am not using it for food. You don't get a porche for a quarter or less of the price of high end grinders. I have also only had it a short time. Understand what you are buying and if it will serve your purpose. This is a motor with blades on it, it has an industrial feel to it. Does it grind, yes. It will turn a lot of sugar to dust in seconds. There is no safety so if you have a tendency to put your hands into turning blades or not unplug things that will damage you then this is not for you. I cleaned the bowl and any part in contact. The blades are stamped metal and so have slight burs. I sanded these off. The metal does not appear to be stainless although the screws are. Tested with a magnet and sometimes stainless that is formed becomes magnetic. Might be a 303 series. I don't know how evenly it will grind. I would assume that you will end up with a gradient of particles. I want dust so it works for me. Cleaning out is not the easiest but anything with rotating blades is going to compact fine dust in places. If you were switched between something like spices it might be a bit more of a pain. The bowl may be water tight. There is a rubber gasket under it but the screw threads and motor shaft may not be sealed. Turning on its side and spraying would probably be ok although I have not tried it. A brush is included for dusting it out. Compressed air might work well too.

Hace ya tiemo que lo uso, muele bastante bien los granos, para cosas más fibrosas les cuesta un poco pero solo debes dejarlo más tiempo, literal son segundos los que tarda en moles, lo único malo es la limpieza no se puede lavar, y considera que las 700gr depende de que tan voluminoso es el material que quieres molestar, ha también saca chispas al encender pero no ha tenido inconvenientes .
