Women's Alexis Flat Loafer, BLACK, 8

I didn't read the description very well, and realized after I received them that they are NOT leather. They are OK for casual wearing; would not recommend if you are on your feet all day. There is no cushioning whatsoever in these shoes. Again, just for casual wear, they are fine. I ordered 8W in the taupe or brown. They are not pointy toed, but not rounded, either. Wide fits my bunions just fine. I didn't have to break them in, they were fairly comfortable from the get go. Only real complaint is the back of one shoe is rubbing the back of my heel raw. The other one is great. No peek socks don't go up high enough to stop the rubbing :(

These shoes are very comfortable and are perfect for the office. Only reason I gave 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because they were way more green than the taupe color the picture on the listing depicts. I was disappointed about that. Do not buy these thinking you are getting taupe colored loafers! "Mushroom" is GREEN, not the taupe color the picture in the listing shows! Too late to return now.

I really wanted to like these shoes. The color is perfect, and they seem very stylish. Unfortunately, they are not up to the standards I've come to expect from the Natural Soul brand (I have 4 pairs of NS shoes in different styles and loved them all). These shoes are so thinly padded and I can feel the surface I am walking on right through them. There is no arch support to speak of. If I had bought a knock-off version of Natural Soul shoes from a discount chain store, this is what I would have expected. Not recommended.

Great shoes! I got them for a steal at less than $25! I ordered the 8.5 wide as I have a small bunion and didn’t want a too narrow toe box. I normally am a size 8. They fit perfect and have a unique print! Love them so far.

I have cranky feet. These shoes are comfortable the minute you slip them on. The insides are soft and your feet do not perspire in them. And these shoes do not cut in to the back of my heel when I wear them without socks. I am also comfortable wearing these shoes all day without plantar fascia pain. So A+++ for Naturalizer Soul!!!

I bought these Soul by Naturalizer loafers at the same time I bought a similar regular Naturalizer shoe and found that the main differences between the two were materials (manmade v. leather) and styling (more casual than elegant.) These shoes have a rounder, blunter toe which adds to the comfort level, important given that the manmade materials won't break in the way leather will. The top "tongue" is lower, too, helping if you have a high instep. The foam insert and arch support, while thin, work well to add comfort.These shoes are especially good for vegetarians and vegans who wish to avoid leather but still want low-heel (1/2") comfort.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I currently have same shoes that I've owned for 4-5 years. Same style, same color. Love them but needed to replace since I loved them to death! These new shoes are floppy and gap at the sides of the foot a good inch in some weird fashion that I've never experience with any shoe. No problem in the length nor wide. Like one reviewer, I agree they seemed very cheap, like a knock off brand, not like an authentic Clark's

I was bummed when I tried on these shoes for the first time. I ordered a 8.5 wide and I have previously bought Naturalizer shoes this size and they fit perfectly, but the Natural Soul brand is narrower. In fact, holding up to my other shoes, they are 1/4" narrower. While that doesn't seem like much, it is the difference of being able to wear a pair of sock with them, or only wearing them in the summer. Plus, there was a water spot or something on the top of one of the shoes. All in all, I am very disappointed and will be on the hunt for another leather shoe that is comfortable that I can wear in winter and summer.
